  1. So haven't been on here in a while. Took my car to the garage to get them to look at the noise from the front end. After having the car for two days he didn't look at it as it was too low to go in the garage now lol. So picked it up on the Friday night and drove home, then the next day to my girlfriends house. Later in the day went to start it and nothing, no dash lights at all. Managed to get a jump and took the car home and took battery out to charge it, next day it made no difference. So a week later when i was fed up of not having a car i looked for prices of batteries. Halfords wanted £69.99 uhm no i dont think so. I went to Unipart and got it for £37 and had to walk a mile with it uphill to get home So the car is working now, next jobs are; Sort out noise from front Honda or Landrover MTF Clean throttle body New Fuel fitler New ARB Try and get rear lip....

  3. Thanks Dave and Chi Im not sure if its going to be this weekend now Im going to have to source another one, which is annoying! I just dont want a VTi-S one, also i dont think it will be round enough to go with the lip and the skirts
  4. Im currently trying to source a accord lip, which i should find out more by the weekend
  5. So another little update, after chopping down my standard aerial it made me think if an S200 one would fit. So after getting one cheap it does but is left with a gap which looks a bit odd. So i go another one and chopped it up and made it fit like it does in the pictures below. Looks a lot better i think, plus it gets good reception
  6. Thanks mate, yeah they do look better as they sit almost the same height as the front lip.
  7. Well nuts look sweet, how much were they and where did you get them from?
  8. Thanks guys! The car is actually dirty, no really it is! I didn't mean it to be that low, it got stuck in my works underground car park yesterday. Luckily it was only the towing eyes that were catching!
  9. Ok so this afternoon me and the misses have been out removing old skirts. Then cleaning the sills, then we painted a couple of coats of hammerite on them. Once that was done we fitted the ZS skirts. I still need to screw them in underneath, which i couldn't do as the screws were long and the car too low lol. Here are the pics... With a dirty car and cleanish skirts! Next I need to to try and sort out an Accord rear lip
  10. Yeah i know its pants really, but then i guess at the time the craze of cup holders hadn't quite started? Also by having them you dont store as much crap in the pocket!
  11. Got my cup holders, what an improvement! I can now have cans in the car, which i never did before. Also i have put my music on DVD's rather than CD's so i have more space in the glovebox lol
  12. I dont know it was on the car when i got it, its just springs over oem shocks i think
  13. I was looking on ebay the other day at cup holders and was watching one and in the last ten minutes it went over £18, i can't believe how much these sale for! I got a brand new one for that on a BIN! Hopefully it will arrive this week. Also im waiting on my sill clips then at the weekend if its nice i will paint my sills and fit the new skirts
  14. Someone kindly snapped the drive shaft, then welded it back together and put the balancer over the top
  15. Been happy with the car, only two problems really (which im sure you will know what they were). How many VTis have you had lol
  16. Cheers for the comments She is going to help me paint the sills before i fit the skirts, she loves painting now As for the VTI-S lip, i dont like them personally. I will fit some sort of rear lip just need to find one that will follow the curvy lines of the front lip and skirts. I keep toying with the idea of a Prius one or maybe an accord one that is nice and subtle Examples: Pruis one Accord one Fitted to a Lude
  17. So on Sunday morning me and the misses got up and started to jack the car up in my single garage . I thought it would be best to do it in there as it looked like it was going to rain and we were determined to do all 4 calipers black and fit the new wheels! So after a long time getting just the back ones painted i said we should just do it out on the drive and if it rains it rains. It didn't and we managed to get all 4 painted! She did all the painting and I'm really impressed as it's her first time for doing something like this! Nice black caliper, with only one coat of Hammerite After lunch after we started the fronts outside (thats why the wheels are different) Wheel and Caliper done Here are the pics of the car back on the ground, gagging for the skirts to be fitted What do you think? Its a bit lower too Also i removed the back mud guards and fitted my new cut down oem aerial, as my old stubby one was too small and faided
  18. So i went to get the wheels and the skirts and impressed with both of them. Just can't wait to get them on now, but typically the weather is pants when i want to do it So may do them the weekend but we will have to see. Anyway here are some quick pics as it was p**sing down and i just put them in the garage! All the wheels together Close up Another Close up Close up of the Centre Caps smoothed (the wheels are dusty not pitted) Showing the new tyres Skirts Close up of skirts
  19. Should be collecting my wheels and Skirts from the 2 body shops on Friday afternoon. I was going to try and get it all on the car before the South West meet, but as that’s probably not going to happen I’m not going to rush with it. I plan to remove the old sills and Hammerite in Black behind them, also i may do the callipers with the same paint at the same time. Of course this is all weather permitted as it’s not the best of weather this last few days! Pics of the parts Friday with any luck.
  20. If you mean the silver ones? Then yeah they are zs 180 ones. As the normal zs comes with ones like ours and some are colour coded.
