hi peeps...nothing special happening...just had car transported to its place of rest till september...the car looked untidy sat outside ours so found elsewhere for it to be stored....keep my hands clean for a bit.

well...theres definetly some benefit cause of some taaawat courier not turning up today...i really like the offset of them rimz....this car is Klean..with a capital K...

cheers beast....got hold of a rear bumper of knight, hopefully here next week....ECU/locks all changed over...im going to have a go at stripping the engine....see whats wrong....might aswell re-condition it...got till september anyway...i have a B16 engine..might put the B16 head on...its all the rage... lets see if it really is what people talk about.

hey peoples...came across a nice little nest of muck...also known as rust material sitting in the front wings... had to do the dastardly deed of jetwashing it all off...good excuse to remove the side skirts and see the condition of the sills....to my surprise 10/10. no rust what so ever. did a little bumper comparison too..im settling for the vti lip over the vti-s lip...break my heart if that 1 broke...keeping it as a monument...hung it up in my garage..lol

todays shopping...i got me a full lock set with red key/ecu/steering barrel lock/blackbox behind centre console/2 keys/central locking fob/receiver near rear view mirror, front pirates black bumper with vti lip spoiler, 2xdamaged fog lights, 2 mint headlights, brake master cylinder....all for £50...i couldnt beleive my luck ...i left home 6 this morning and when i got back your envelope arrived...top man.. got me civic 5 goodies today in the post... ..cheers Dave.

some more pics.....everything iv removed bar the bumper and headlights now lives in the boot...till about september...washed the engine with gunk....plan to use traffic film remover next time....i hear its better stuff.....also removed the door strips and outer window seals...another job to do...dont know if i should vinyl the strips or paint them satin black??? good chance to remove the nasty green mould too....its going to have to sit like this till september.....scary thing is i have to put it all back together again...

its so easy to take these cars apart. in total iv now spent just over 2 hours per corner opening all the bolts and 3 hours on removing the engine...and thats with a halfords socket set worth £100 and some WD40...trust me tiger...after this no more....i hope...

well people, the funeral of the burgundy MB6 is taking place soon....dont worry....another shell is going to house the engine.....its just ticket over to 80001 miles today and still going strong.....heres some pics of the rip out on the vti-s....basically everything on the front removed..... .every suspension bolt front and rear unscrewed, greased and ready for torquing up again while i do the suspension/engine swap....unsiezed, removed greased and will be tightened up..... radiator bracket, aircon brackets, wiring connector brackets, fuel filter bracket, basically every bracket held with a 10mm nut is getting sand blasted and sprayed.....dont know what colour yet...also going to de-tango lights..
