  1. could possibly mess around with the ABS signals?
  2. theres an AEBS intake manifold on sale pistonheads
  3. once you have conquered the ally spacers note the 3 studs i used were from a B16 inlet manifold. even the teg studs were not long enough. the teg fuel rail is different in construction hence the smaller studs. as for gains they are all different. my cars rated at 185bhp. with that intake a 4-1 maniflod is the way to go. if you can live with the scarpes
  4. i have a AEBS on my car. look at my build thread. the AEBS was purposely made for the GSR/C4 head. where as the skunk 2 was made for the teg which has a slightly different injector angle. skunk 2 on the GSR/C4 fires fuel in the wrong area. AEBS was designed for these heads only. the skunk 2 as above is for the teg with just a re-worked flange plate to fit GSR/C4. its not to say gains wont be made. its just as light as skunk 2 and has a bigger chamber. all state massive 20HP increase.. just ignore that bit ... you will need injector rail spacers and have to use longer studs to fit the injector rail. its not a straight swop with AEBS. i beleive skunk 2 is though iv never tried the skunk 2. with the AEBS i got a shorter throttle cable bracket just like oem but enough to clear the the bonnet/strutbrace.
  5. lowering your car then keeping the fat tyres is great as it fills the arch more giving it that look. but changing to lower tyre profiles then increases the gap in the arch and can even make a lowered car look normal. example = standard 195/55/15 is bigger than a 195/45/16..only by midges but you get the jist. hope this helps.
  6. looking good, mine will be similar to yours when i get my speedline fans back on. what tyre size you running?
  7. cheers guys, its a bit difficult having it low n crashy with 45's tyres. mainly due to family but iv been there n wore the T shirt now,
  8. cheers pal, they are 55's. comfort is excellent, and it happily clears speed bumps too. the tow hook hasnt caught once yet.
  9. just a pic whilst i had a minute..more to come...
  10. most definetly not.....they have a different stud pattern alltogether. look on e-bay for one that suits your b18c4... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKUNK2-B18C1- ... 209wt_1140 very hard to find one at a good price.....good luck.
  11. yes. the man above sounds right. probably driver side? quick check is to jack each wheel up and try and see if theres any play in the wheel by moving it top to bottom. also is the sound whilst in gear only or continious when car is moving? this just eliminates possible gearbox fault.
  12. a point to consider....down side to a manifold which scrapes/hits the floor is it rocks the engine. a weak place is the gearbox torque mount. you can quite easily fracture the gearbox casing where the torque mount bracket fits the g/box. it happened to me and i thought it was the reverse light switch. on removal i noticed it inside.
  13. strange you should say the mani touches the sump? i had this too when i was going to fit a DC sports manifold to my car. on seeing this i turned it down and went for the 4-1 from e-bay with 2.5" collector. nice subaru rumble but too much cabin droan. it had to go. were all here to help, naz.
  14. when changing mani's you have to also allow for adjustment on the de-cat... ie will it fit? they are all different. if you have an adjustable de-cat your quids inn providing its the same size to match the manifold. generally speaking the 4-2-1 increases midrange power and the 4-1 increases top end power. all about gas flow. with your set-up ie that intake id have 4-1. if you can handle the odd scrape here and there.
  15. strangely enough that does look like a integra manifold is that the original B18C4 head or has someone changed it the manifold touching the sump is not a good thing. they are tight anyway. this heat will cook the oil in the engine. the B18 are slightly higher than the B16 which may suggest the mani's from a b16 but its no good for you. i recommend its changed or as noodle says twat it to clear the sump. the two pipes pictured looks like a coolant bypass has been carried out. this basically stops the throttle plate from freezing. hope this helps.
  16. similar question asked in another thread.... viewtopic.php?f=52&t=8876 1"£££$££"
  17. hmmm... good idea, maybe make my own brackets and try and fit them..will look in to this further, cheers 1"£££$££"!!
  18. bonnet lifters available from anywhere? purposely to stop bonnet flying open in to the widscreen on windy days...or shall i stick to a bungee cord. cheers.
