sorry buddy, not with you there mate, is that the engine mounts? if so only the torque mounts have to come off with air con compressor bracket...the rest including the power steering pump can all stay on...dis-connect wiring left n right, manifold,gearlinkage,rad hoses,P/steering hose,AC,D/shafts,,,its all ready to come out.allow engine to tilt underneath driver side 1st then take it out.

hey peoples....its been a while i worked on this...but back on it now...changed the trailing arm bushes today...got new honda jobbies..installed slightly off-square as its suited for the lowered suspension..saves them getting torn up again...glad its back on 4 wheels. the boots still full of all the stuff iv taken off it...just brakes and an engine and were off....

well....this is what its all about!!!...got all the brackets in the engine bay back today...sandblasted ready to paint, including the engine torque mounts. thought of doing a wire tuck but too much hassle...cut n extend solder.....naaaah....painted the H in the wheel caps too. bit of a how to...also had a spare driver side torwue mount and installed it on the passenger side.....had to use a spacer to make it fit.....fitted new discs and pads up-front...Pagid....the rears are ok for the minute....got the lot for £145 from eurocarparts on trade discount...but the best mod is by far the teg short-shifter...blimey it does make a difference! forgot to take a pic of this 1.

just a little update on my wheels....painted them today. heres some pics, the fat 5s centre caps fit a treat

no!...the wheels have been undercoated...their still to be painted yet...not decided what colour? thought of gunmetal? maybe too dark...as for the height at the front...theres no engine in it.

id give it a couple of hours with clay bar and an hour to polish up..doesnt get rid of swirl marks or scratches but removes tar oil and the likes of stubborn stuff....youll be amazed whats on your paint after using this stuff.....do this first then use a scratch remover then seal it with polish n wax.

bought some auto glym clay bar...results are fantastic..best £25 ever spent on bodywork...some more pics to come soon.

eeeeyup!...just keeping this post warm...rear bumper supplied courtesy of Paul Knight now fitted aswell as front bumper...front bumper came with VTi lip so going to leave this on for a bit to see how it looks...also re-sprayed the chrome on the grill...didnt turn out the best so im going to have a go again....all side strips/window seals re-painted in matt black...de-tangoed headlights and polished plastic lenses....going to be in touch with the man civicturbo for some new calipers all round......just no engine in it yet
