  3. .wish id never sold them now....eibach are the business......im glad your happy with them..looks nice and subtle....couldnt temt you in to some 16" chronos too? ... 1"£££$££"!!
  4. i got 1st to 4th....dont know how long they last..10K,20K...who knows?...all i can say is the new honda 2nd gear synchro set would often crunch on me when i was giving it jip....still waiting for a crunch from the M-factory stuff... but sure dammit good product!...iv been told all K series transmissions have them too. i wish id bought them 1st time round.
  5. you definetly want M-Factory synchros all day long..!.. never crunched a gear yet..!..puts the honda synchro 2nd gear which i bought to shame.
  6. still should be cheaper than getting a second hand s80 though... too right...nothing beats peace of mind...id strongly recommend M-factory synchro set aswell...work out about £190 including taxes at your door
  7. Hi peoples...been mega busy lately...got a baby on the way mid november...gettin all prepared...found some kittens in my garden...2 gone and 1 left went to the cat sanctuary...as big as a tennis ball... throttle body turned out faulty...however inlet from AEBS is bang on....running P30 ECU at the moment....mini service too and installed stock MGZS suspension and removed 16s too...you cant beat comfort.....all up for grabs soon..
  8. Hp peoples..FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY.....got my hands on it...AEBS intake manifold and STR throttle body 68mm....just transfering the bits over....heres a few pics.
  9. basically its of the transmission side..just adapted to fit the cambelt side via a heavyduty washer.
  10. well peeps...dont know how lucky i am...driving on motorway the other day and heard something rattling for a few seconds ..i pulls over to investigate and then hear a whistling/whining noise and found this sitting on the pulley...its the aircon tensioner .. couldnt beleive it!!!!...so lucky could of had been all over...cut belt off then went on my merry way...the difference was a lot better with it off so heres the outcome...removed the lot. a lot cleaner and a bit lighter....
  11. Hi Dr....you will also need the collar for one of the gears on the countershaft PFKL434091 COLLAR, DISTANCE, 36.5X42X30 £24.98...heres the link...part no 8. http://www.hondaoriginalparts.com/honda ... k_03=19786 ....without this its pretty useless....id triple check all this fits together as the diff in the S9B is different...youll be the first on this me thinks...in the pic you can see the difference..the one on the left is 4.75FD and the one on the right is 4.4FD....see the thickness just above the bottom gear on the two pics....go on lings parts website. youll find it there.
  12. personally speaking id get a Y21 box with Lsd....the teg box is way too short imo...y21 is perfectly adequate for local town/motorway driving and the odd bit of jip....s80 with 4.75FD absolutely hammers juice.....i may be going back to 4.4FD with LSD for the following reasons, A. longer rev range as opposed to short bursts. i have raced a few other civics with Y21 trannys and iv lost due to having to change gear . by the time im in 2nd gear and accelerating they are coming out of 1st...however they have taken adantage in terms of in higher revrange for longer hence increased distance. B. Economy. its an absolute killer....S9B i got 60 miles to a tenner...its now halved Y21 with 4.75FD is 35miles to a tenner...like running a subaru.
  13. yep, 195/45/16...and its the MG setup with Eibach springs.
  14. cheers for the link bud....you would be surprised as to how strong these wheels are...hit many potholes...no problems...just a few pics.
