    Always leave it a few seconds for abs light and immob light to go out, only immob light not going out flashing, yes fuel pump comes on not battery related.

    You can try and find some plain black from a newer car or aluminium like ones from rover 45 I think.

    Trim is only mounted with clips, it can be prised off but you need to be gentle as they are quite easy to snap.

    I've only got the one, getting a spare cut is one of the many jobs I just haven't got round to yet. I do have the red key though.

    Morning all, as the title suggests I'm having some trouble with my immobiliser. It's happened before intermittently when I've put the key in it's not recognised it and the light continued to flash only ever happened once in a while though. Yesterday morning it happened when I first got in, turned it off and back on and it was fine, happened again when I got in it yesterday afternoon just once on and off again. Then last night, coming home from the pub it took 3 attempts, I got home and tried it again and again it took 3 goes, tried several times after that and it was fine. Does everybody think it's just a key problem or should I start panicing!!

    Sure I've heard of people having icm fail without throwing a code.

    Excellent news, I'm having trouble with my immobiliser now, think I just need a new key cut hopefully.

    Yep, I and others have found Castrol makes the top end quite tappety, try a different brand.

    This was posted the other day, looks to be a decent one though for the money, slightly high miles.

    Not massive mileage, how often do you change it?

    Might take a bit of setting up but I'm sure it'll be fine, I've got mine almost perfect, I can get over most speed bumps, slowly, and there are not many places it scrapes and it's still decently low.
