Looks like he would actually! went back for the retest, new lambda was fine but still failed on CO2, in fact even higher than my old cat! Done plenty of research online about cats and from what I can see its a baffled decat. Doesnt have the internal metallic gauze to reduce the engine gasses! Works great as a decat, better response, revs quicker but not road legal for MOT purposes!! Got to re-fit another cat tomorrow now for retest deadline on friday. Im suprised though as he insists it is a high flow cat, might be high flow but isnt a cat as there is no internal gauze to act as the catalyst. Doesnt seen eager to take it back to sell on or help with refund, even partial. If he had described it accurately in the first place then I probably wouldnt have bought it as I would know it wasnt MOT legal. I have contacted him and tried to be amicable but will have to leave a negative feedback on his post if we cant make agreement! that is a shame... ive bought a few things from him with no trouble... i still couldnt find any info on what mongoose are calling this or if they even made a sports cat for the mb6/mc2 as far as i know the sports cats are custom made only

kyekye09 replied to spudley1988's topic in Engine & Chassis
has it solved the problem...??? -
the 3 point middle belt comes fitted to the seat and bolts under onto the floor iirc i wiil check and post back edit just went through your post again and i take it the seat you got are from a 98 vti...???? all you need is the back rest clips/stays from that year as for the lap belt just bolt up as you would the original belt
-
You mean where the folding part of the rear seat would "clip" into/onto when it's in the upright position? You'll need to swap it for one out of an MB6 I think or an earlier reg car 99 and 2000 reg there was a change to the seats came across this prob a few times with mates cars and £90 for fitting a mani there ripping you off mate thats 2 hours work at a honda dealership........... there is only a few bolt to contend with... all you really need is 10mm socket for the head flange 12mm for the bracket on the front of the block and 2 exhaust bolts that hold to the nid section and a 14mm socket for the bracket at the rear of the block....(and a 22mm spanner if you have an o2 sensor to contend with) i would be rolling on the floor if they quoted me £90 bud

YES! And never you see night! It is a pleasure to drive at night ..... i take it you just mounted the projector to the original headlight bowl/dish the part that reflects the light wher the bulb is centered...???

I hope they do , its reallllly bouncy justnow on the s**t roads here with the Pi springs n shocks haha, cheers! was mostly my friend who did the work i just read the haynes manual and worked out how to do it haha yeah the mg stuff is proper stiff and i would put that down to team effort you cant read screwdrive push and pull all at the same time
-
yeah we have a stupid thermometer in the work and it was reading an outside temp of -4..... has nobody told the weather man its march not november... are those civic or rover/mg wind deflectors...??? mg zs shocks n springs make a huge difference in the way the car rides top work on getting the full beam working
