  1. Having a really annoying issue with my MA. So as far as I can tell someone fitted an aftermarket alarm system to my car before I got it (I think). I have no idea. The key fob is separate to the key, has no brand and is plane black. It went corroded and stopped working so I started using the key in the locks which seemed to disarm the alarm and the immobiliser. Then I started getting this situation where I'd turn the key, just the drivers button would come up and the alarm and immobiliser stay armed no matter what. Jiggling the key and a bit of WD in the lock sorted that until I came out the ot
  2. This came up as a suggested item on ebay during my frequent searches for a London Compliant MB. May be of interest to someone here? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114653650026
  3. Found this civic sr 1.6 for sale on facebook marketplace. Very rare with less than 10 left on the road now. It's got a facelift front end so its probably been in an accident in the past. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/409949866955953/
  4. Spotted on eBay, really clean shell, mega low miles and some really nice mods. It's a 1.4 with an autobox which wont be to everyone's liking, but with the low miles (42K), full history and what looks to be rust free bodywork would make a great base for someone? Also, I'm positive this Mb is in the forum, recognize the reg! Its up for quite a high price for an mb2, but suppose the mileage/history and condition kinda back that up. Really sweet looking Civic! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Civic/393085012854?_trkparms=aid%3D1110010%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.DISCCARDS%26ao%3D1%26asc%3

Civic5 How to guide No 8 - JDM style twin rear fog lights mod. This guide shows you how to modify your Honda Civic 5 door MA/MB rear lights to incorporate twin rear fog lights. This guide could also be used to do the same mod to the Honda Civic 5 door Aerodeck models too, although there may be some slight differences. Big thanks to member Dan1 for this great How To guide!
  9. Might aswell put my hours trawling through ebay to some good use! 5x 4x100 Fanblades https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-civic-fanblades-4x100-15-EK-VTI-Alloys-fanblade-EK4-EG6/313241112856?hash=item48eea01118:g:JxMAAOSwe~JfdigM No idea who the bloke is but he is currently selling some other really interesting parts!
  10. Ok, when parked up, how long does your battery stay charged in your Civic M? Let us know below! Also include whether you have an after market alarm turned on or not too. Know these cars seem to not like being left parked up with the battery connected for long periods of time, but looking to see what the average park up period is on them before the battery goes flat. And is it just a myth that it is the little clock in the dash that drains it? Use template below (copy/paste) Battery lasts: Alarm on?: Any extra info:
  11. A quick one this month folks as we're running a bit behind with the competitions. Get the cars you would like to see win entered now!! You can enter another members civic or even your own. Lets see em! Entry time is until Friday, then voting will start and finish on Sunday
  12. I would like to know if it will be possible to fit on the MB6 Hood and front bumper onto my MA8. I've noticed there are significantly more parts for the MB6, and then more there's the front lip that I think I wouldn't be able to put onto my MA8. I'm worries there might be conflict with the lights or other parts of the body. And that MB6 bumper is quite sexy. Pictured my white ma8, someone elses (who's probably here on civic5) mb6

  14. So, I saw this on ebay a while ago, and can't get my head around it for some reason. https://www.ebay.de/itm/114228513404 Am I imagining it that this isn't there as standard? There's the little rubber strip round the lip of the arch, then beyond that it's just treated metal unlike the front arches?
  15. Hello Any idea if these rover fogs will fit into my mb1?

  18. MeisterR Zeta Pro for the civic mb/mc. They haven't done many miles tbh as DD spent most of the time just doing meets/shows but is now in daily use hence reverting back to oem.So these have only done around 4000 miles. Still have the original box they came in, original spec sheet/instructions and the C spanners for adjusting them. These are one of the very few suspensions designed specifically for the Civic MB/MC's More photos. The paint has come off the two front springs but doesn't affect performance. Checked all the adjuster rings and all moving freely.
  19. Hi, I have recently bought a 1996 N reg MA9 which I really like, has been lightly modded but I'd like it as stock as possible seeing as it is the eco model (already very impressed with the MPG for something so old, has done over 200 miles on 20quid of fuel) It has some kind of cheap aftermarket induction kit installed. Does anyone know where I can source a stock airbox for cheap? Or if anyone knows any other models that use the same airbox, can't find on internet (seems pointless having an induction kit on the economy vtec-e d15z3 engine and the MOT is soon and don't want it to fail
  20. HONDA CIVIC 'M' SERIES COMPATIBILITY DATABASE Civic5 accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracies or omissions from this database and all that STEERING AND SUSPENSION COMPONENTS *Wheel and tyre info....Stock ET is 45 for all M's (widest recommended rim with this et is 6.5" at r15? ). DC2 alloys need spacers to fit over 282 calipers *Springs and shock absorbers....Same as dc2/eg/ek/ej/400/45/zs. DC2 coilovers will need the Integra LCA. Matched springs and shocks are specific to the weight of the model so Aerodeck are different as are other civics or Integras. *Front upper wishbone....

  22. Ok, I'm always telling new members to get a project thread going, so thought I'd better put in mine! So, the brief.... Bought the civic from my wife when she got her aerodeck, she was the 2nd owner. It had full FHSH, and 32'000 miles on the clock! Had it for around 4 years now (she had owned it for a year) As bought, completely standard First mod was to change the rear lights, as I hated the orange indicators. So changed to later style MB lights Then I turned to the interior. Luckily for me, my wife got me a brand new, still in the box, OEM leather interior!
