    Only just over 8 weeks!! Christ I better book some time off work!!

    so another £250 spent on parts today :/ Christ this baby is costing more than a real one!! thank god my misses doesn't want a baby for a few years right so I've hopefully sorted out a garage in the next few weeks just need to wait for a call to say its all ready to rock n roll I've still got lots to do to the car and bits to prep etc so I need to crack on quickly so I can get them done

    my mate used to work there so i know its a good job he gets his work done there when he needs it done

    yep huge tyres, plus i ran my coilovers on solid

    it handled horrible by the way!! it was bouncy and conerened like a boat!!

    only a little.... but it means they dont have to rush cos i have another way of getting around

    ha ha well im giving her a proper go over inside aswel, carpets out and cleaned, seat reails painted as i never got round to doing that and there a pain to get out!! all will come in time though!! plus having some painting done so i will need to have a car to get around in while thats being done

    here is when i was waiting for my wheels to arrive 2nd picture was when i first had the car lowered. doesn't seem so low now condsidering im running slightly higher now

    ha ha i have a busy schedule over the next few weeks :/ maybe in 2 weeks time? the 14th ish i should be free ha ha i love cliffhangers ;) well im hoping i can get a daily in the next 2 weeks or so, so i can crack on with the rest of the car!!

    christ your eager!! ummm will have to check with the misses as to what we are doing. we come back from bournemouth on the friday and i dont know whether she's staying at mine again on the friday night aswel. will let you know in the week though, saturday will be the best day as i've got a wedding reception on the saturday night. a little update got my new products through which i can't wait to use hopefully the weather holds out for me so i can wash the car before tuesday before me and the misses go down to bournemouth for a few days and have been doing a few bits to the car and parts there will be a big update in a month i hope to show you what i've been working on

    i would probably look into dent repair and see what it entails i've got some new wings to go on at some point but thats the last thing to do im only in stroud

    if you want to meet up i could have a look at the paintwork as your only in swindon dings and small dents aren't a problem, i have a crease in my wing thanks to a garage lifting the front wheel with it :/ still polishes fine and come up a treat unfortunately i can't do dings etc :/ i would love to learn how to do it though as you can make some serious money from it!!

    ha ha, well i can do it for japfest if you want me to mate? a good clay polish and wax works wonders mate

    ha ha i actually rarely drink mate!! probably once a month if that!! and i'm trying to get fit so pasties would be a no ha ha it also depends how bad your paint is mate, i have lots of different grades or cutting compounds to remove swirls and everything, has it been clayed yet?

    Yes it takes a small layer of laquer off. You should leave Atleast 50 microns of paint left on the paintwork otherwise your paintwork is at higher risk from flaking etc. you'll need a paint thickness gauge to test it. I machine polish with a very fine polish to get nice result as my paintwork doesn't normally suffer from swirls etc just general small scratches which is taken out by the fine polish I use

    Auto finesse stuff is a hit I think it's very good and smells divine after a couple of squirts it's smelt lush and I just wanted to spray more of it

    Ye I got the 3for2 as I thought id treat myself I think the dodo and auto finesse are on par with each other as for smell and ease of use
