I keep breaking my laptop everytime I look at that M, because I keep drooling on it Love your car mate, one of my favorites!

Looking sweet mate! I seen that air feed on that Civic5 Facebook page, keep up the good work

I have just ordered these from fleabay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-old-Honda- ... 3ccb321495

Sounds good How long have you used the spacers for? And did you use extended studs? I might get these 3mm Hubcentric spacers as they got good reviews on them http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-3mm-Hubce ... 2c6a5f0458

Haha I wasn't keen on the interior too.. the dashboard looks really flimsy. This one is a 1.6 16v and it only got 74000 miles on it!

My Grandad really doesn't want to let this car go but its just sat there in his garage Still no news about getting the Honda but I'm going around there tomorrow and see if I can get it up and running. I will try get some pics too

I recently took my alloys off as it keeps rubbing on the bottom suspension arm and the inner arch. It only rubs when on full lock so its not that serious. Will be ideal to have the alloys back on and have a bit of wheel poke I was looking on the net for spacers and I have seen a lot of people say bad things about them. Some say spacers puts strain on the wheel bearings and cause excessive wear. Some say they been using spacers for years and never had a problem with them. But has anyone had spacers on their M's? If so have you had any problems and did you have to make changes for wheel alignments? Cheers

Yes! I might be given a 1989 Honda Concerto by my Grandfather! It was his pride and joy and he owned it for nearly 24 years (He bought the car from new) Its identical to the Rover 200 1989–95. Its been stored in his garage for 8 years as it needs work done to it. The car hasn't been started between those years so the engine is probably seized. Its not for definite I'll be getting this car but I am just soo excited and it would be an ideal project car! I also want to post it on here to see what you guys think of these cars as I never seen one on the road before. Oh and I haven't got any picks of it for the moment but I will try get them up as soon as possible. Here's what it looks like anyway.. same color but not as clean lol These are kinda like an older version of our M's

My car is still idling up and down, ran out of ideas

Can be an easy mistake to be done The engine seem to idle just under a 1000rpm now but its still isn't right, but it will do for now -

Thankyou very much everyone for the reply's and help The engine doesn't seem to rev up and down as bad now, but its still doing it... I still cannot find any vacuum leaks after replacing the pipes for new ones. I have also diconnected the MAF sensor and the engine just died, which probably prove thats working fine. Tomorrow I will go through it again and check the water pipes temperature for circulation. I have also read somewhere on another site that the fast idle thermo valve can be sticking but I cannot find it on my Civic. Again cheers everyone -
YES.. YES... YES! White wheels is a must, especially on a burgundy red M I have commented on his thread (forgot his user name) about those wheels, not sure if he still got the car? It looks amazing..

I.... MUST.... GET.... WHITE.... ALLOYS.... This would look like my M if I had white alloys on. Looks stunning! -
I really hope I can get some help or advises here because its really starting to grind my gears! Nearly 3 weeks ago I was cleaning the throttle housing ( I actually removed the throttle for a proper clean up ) with brake cleaner. After I got it all very shiney squeaky clean, I then connected it all back up with a new throttle gasket. I started her up and let the engine warm up and find out it wasn't idling right. It keeps revving up and down between 1200-1500rpm when it should be idling smooth at 750rpm. I checked for vacuum leaks, checked throttle cable and make sure everything was connected. I thought the problem might be something to do with the 'idle air control valve', so I took that apart and cleaned that too (was clogged up of dirt) and that still didn't fix it. So I figured the ECU could be confused as the throttle was cleaned and getting more air. I disconnected the ECU fuse, the back up fuse and disconnect the battery for 30 mins.. Connected it all back up, drove for 20 miles and it was still revving up and down.. Today I have done all the above again but using proper throttle cleaning spray. And I replaced all the vacuum pipes/hoses with some nice brand new flashy red pipes lol I have now run out of ideas so I would really appreciate it if you can suggest me on what other things I can do sort this problem. Thankyou for reading and many thanks for your help

Ye I was hoping it will workout the same diameter when I get lower profile tyres, but I didn't think it works like that. I checked out that Camskill website, some good stuff. Cheers

I don't think it's the sort of hole you're thinking of. -

Stick a exhaust trim on it, anything will look better than a standard pipe on the rear.. That's just me being fussy -
I have to remove the alloys.. It was doing my head-in as the tyres keep rubbing on the bottom suspension arm and inner arch So I put the standards back on until I can afford low profile tyres for the alloys. I put the wheel trims on too because the steelies were proper rusty I have noticed the car seem to pick up faster from stand still with these wheels on, so I'm chuffed about that lol

You know you want to keep it. x2 Please keep it..

The new rims are looking fantastic mate, suits your M really well And its good to see your Civic haven't got nothing major to be worked on for the re-test -
Haha thanks bud Ye you probably noticed I didn't know where to start at the beginning of the thread. But most of the stuff like the spoiler, MGZS speaker tweeters and Rover 400 clear side indicators all came from the scrappy.. so that gave me a good start. And I most probably will go over the top on modifying

Thanks mate There is soo much more stuff I want to do to it (Front fogs, respray headlight surrounds, respray the dash board trims, replace flywheel for lightweight flywheel) but I don't want to go too over the top as the Aerodecks are starting to grow on me fast As for lowering, I think I might leave it as i'm happy with the handling. I only want to lower it mainly for stance...

I can't wait to see those beauty's on your M. I can imagine those alloys will look just right with the black and silver combo
