Shame about the wing but its looking a lot better than it being sticker bombed
-
Nice! I wish my mb3 was this color (Pirates Black would be better again) Be nice to see what you do to this M
-
Nice Civic, I like the color and the alloys suit it nicely I also want to lower my M but I am in the same situation as you. I cannot afford coilovers so I might have to go for lowering springs, but they're not cheap when you don't have the cash
-
Cheers bud!I would much prefer coilovers but that have to wait for a while... Or could go for lowering springs for cheaper option..
-
Cheers lads! I seriously need to get it lowered but I cannot afford to, and really need some low profile tyres. That might help lower it a tad

vag fag x2 made me -
I have been real slack with my Civic recently so I decided to do everything in one day. So I finally fitted the spoiler, fitted MGZS tweeters (free from scrappy) and another wash+wax...

I didn't remove the iacv pipes. But I think I messed up the map sensor which is on the throttle housing. I might swap it for the other throttle housing which came of a 1.6. They look the same. But first i'm taking the throttle housing off again to replace the gasket as it didn't look good Cheers
-
Ye, I disconnected everything from the throttle housing. 2 water hoses, 1 air hose and 2 electric plugs. The throttle cable seems fine, not too tight or too loose. It could be the iacv, I will check it out tomorrow. Thanks
-
I recently cleaned out the throttle housing just to maintain my MB3. I have cleaned the butterfly flap and the housing with WD40 and a toothbrush (looking good and shiny! ) The next morning when I went to start the car, it was reving a little higher than usual because more air is going through after cleaning the throttle. But when its fully warmed up, it revs up and down between 1000 to 1200rpm. It usually idles at 750rpm. I have also noticed after decelerating from 2000rpm, it comes back down to 1500 slowly and then suddenly drops down to 1000rpm again. I checked all the hoses, connections and leaks but I cannot find anything. Thanks for reading, hope you can help

You will be waiting for a long time mate

Yes! Finally got a VTi lip / splitter for a proper bargain... 10 QUID!! It was silver but I re-sprayed it in shiny gloss black (I want to go for that black & red theme lol) Hopefully its not going to pi$$ down over weekend so I can fit the spoiler. The scary part is drilling holes in boot...
-
I got a VTI splitter/lip now. Paid a tenner for it, BARGAIN! All re-sprayed in gloss black and front of my Civic looks soo different over one piece of plastic But I still want to see what other lips fit. Mk1 Renault Laguna sounds like a good idea.. I got a Nissan Primera GT splitter which came off my olemans car

Looking a lot better mate..

I will give it a go

Another here..

I saw a Civic EG Coupe with some sort of drag spoiler and I think it looks pretty cool.. and different! But I have no idea what its called. Its a bit like the one in the picture below. I can just imagine it will look nuts on a MB but what do you think?

I didn't manage to get it all done over the weekend but the bumper lip is currently being primered. Should be sprayed tomorrow and fitted on thursday. As for spraying the calipers and rocker cover, that didn't go down so well..

Looking fantastic mate. The mesh grill with the mugen badge is a nice touch I changed the side indicators for clear lenses which came from a Rover 400. Looks a lot better
