  1. Maybe the famous red rug has been saved from the skip!?
  2. Also true! I'd love to have two or three cars, but no where to stash them all! We can't all go mad like Dave and build a small house for them! As much as I would love to have a garage like that!!
  3. I reckon the MG would beat you to the scrap yard!
  4. Sweet! If you strip it as well she will weigh even less, but don't forget the weight of the trailor too!
  5. Either way, sounds like it could be a lot of fun and it would be a shame to see your M go! Check the tech specs for the Mazda, should tell you what, if anything she can tow!

    MOT Due.. Help!

Or one who can be cheered up with beer tokens at least!
  7. You could be the trend setter then mate! Give them some M inspired mods to go at! That sounds like good fun! Wasn't a "Time attack" was it?
  8. Where did you order them from dude? Might be handy to anyone else in the same predicament?
  9. Winter sh1tters are the most fun you'll ever have! I know what you mean, having two cars and worrying you're either using one too much or the other! But then you also don't want to spoil what you have with the current 'Deck! Tough one! I told my old man I need a car for every mood! Truth is, unless you clone yourself, you can only drive one car at a time!
  10. I say it's cheap because you won't have to maintain it but yeah £700 is a lot to fork out of anybody's money! It's just the initial outlay as I bet interim servicing etc wouldn't cost loads!
  11. That would look cool with some fly-eyes on the headlights or some other way of culling the shiny bits of the headlights!
  12. Civic Cup does look like a lot of fun but if you have the money to put into it too! I think there's a place that will let you hire a Civic to take part in a race and they provide support for the day too! So you just show up and rag the t1ts off it! Could be a good and cheap-ish way of finding out more and deciding if you really want to get involved!
  13. Bargain and so clean too! With regards to tax, if you could get anything no younger than a 55 plate, it'll top out at band k on the tax! The Saab I had would have cost £470 a year just in tax but because it was on a 55 plate, it "only" cost £270, yay! Do like these though, look good and there aren't millions around......that I notice anyway
  14. Hindsight is a brilliant thing eh? Should have taken her off the road, painted her and thrown copious amounts of goodies at her!
  15. I'm on there so have been looking at various project threads etc! Even have planned in my head what I would want to if I end up with one! My older brother had a pre-facelift a few years back which I had driven a few times so I have a basic idea of how they are, though this one had 19" wheels and coilovers on! It's a case of getting the money together and trying a few different cars to be sure I'll be 100% happy as folk on here know all too well how I chop and change cars because I've bought either lemons or just thought I'd be happy with it then shortly afterwards changed my mind I'm awkward as 4uck!
  16. Yeah I was looking at facelifts that have AC as standard as my minimum requirement!
