  1. How long did you run it for once you heard she wasn't right?
  2. Haha would end up being on hell of a road trip eh!? Yeah Jake, I've done cheap (but not cheerful!), plus I have to out-do my brother being as he had the 330bhp Pulsar, this would be a good way to go one better!
  3. It's on the right hand side where you can see the bit of yellow! Then on that side of the carb as you look at it from the passenger side wing is the float window in the shape of a 'H', with the car running it should be around the middle of that to be fueling correctly! When you remove the airbox it's worth plugging up the two vacum pipes you have to disconnect otherwise she won't idle properly, I found covering them with electrical tape was good enough!
  4. Ah man! Just treat it as an oil change and see what she sounds like when you run her! Fingers crossed dude!
  5. The idea of a cheap track toy appeals to me as well! But I haven't anywhere to keep such a thing!
  6. Yeah I've seen a few around various sites cheap and that! I reckon I'll try and do it properly!
  7. Yep! Speaking of car fund, I've been in touch with a couple guys at Torque GT based down in Devon about Stagea's, I could get a Series 2 RS Four with a manual box for around £5000 or a 260RS for around £8000, I was really surprised how cheap it is considering the beast that lies beneath! The sensible side of me is saying to go with the RS Four, the rest of me is saying 4uck it and go all out, you only live once! Which is true! I also think that this type of car (I.e, supercar territory) will probably be the peak of ownership for me unless I win the lottery.....which I don't often play!
  8. Unlucky! Got hold of a battery for £34, went to take the negative terminal off and there was small spark/fizz, thought hang on it shouldn't have done that from a nudge...tried the ignition, lights on, car started normally! Did a wee bit more fiddling, the terminal is loose! But the nut has siezed so can't tighten it, but it's been fine for ages! But I did notice that it was generally looking grubby so a bit of a clean and some copper grease and seems okay so far! Took the battery back unopened for a refund, happy with that!
  9. You don't want to see what the inside of my Accord looked like, was almost as bad as the outside!
  10. That's true! Facelift rears should be the same so at least they won't be hard to find!
  11. You're looking at just over £800 delivered dude!
  12. Can't beat the smell of petrol!
  13. Doesn't say but shipping to Western Europe starts at $400!!!
  14. Just over three and a half times of what I paid for my Accord!
  15. I wouldn't trust a dose of the clap from Daewoo! Now up to £115 towards a car....friend paid me back money they owed......Accord's battery needs replacing though, so there goes a wedge of that lot
  16. Cool! Facelift bumpers are usually smooth! I had some FP Racing tail lights on mine, think they looked the part! http://www.funkypower.com/catalogue.php?make=HONDA&model=CIVIC&year=1996-00+CIVIC&level1=EXTERIOR+STYLING&level2=TAIL+LAMPS&level3=&id_product=4609
  17. Like it! Think the side skirts need to match the colour of the front and rear lip to complete the look!
  18. I'd still want change from that too!
  19. Try looking for Rover clocks, might be very similar if not the same!
  20. Yeah, fueling the cars drinking problem is more useful than fueling your own hangover!
