Very similar plate! Mine was X159 BCA Fish looks well done! Might be worth putting on eBay and seeing if you get any interest?

EP3 would be the Type R of choice for me over the FN, just a better car all round I think! Though I'd love a JDM FD2!!!

Sounds good for half the job dude! Glad you like them so far! Good luck with the LCA bolt!

Right, back on topic for the moment! Weekends little job was to see what I could achieve by fettling with the carb, I wanted to help with the idle as she idled too low and during the first 10 minutes of driving you'd get the "Stop-Start" style of cutting out when coming to a halt, I'm not fussed about economy So first off here's a photo of the idle speed before! (Yes I know it's cold but it was the same when warm!) So firstly the air box needed to come off! But as with all old cars, there was one seized nut! You know how the saying goes, use it or lose it! So out with the first precision tool! After getting some funny looks from people passing by and realising I wasn't getting very far I went for plan B! A few minutes later I had grounds to get an 8mm spanner on it instead of the 10mm it should have been and managed to get the air box off revealing the marvel that is, the single point carb! The screw on the top with the yellow marking was the idle fuel mix screw, behind the carb out of sight was the idle screw which can be turned by hand, so after about ten minutes of trial and error I finally got a relatively smooth idle! Much better! I still need to play with it some more as it's still dumping too much fuel but now I know how to fiddle with it I should be able to improve it more! Plus I've got some new plugs to go in once I find or buy a spark plug tool!

You can pay for it then because I'm not

I'm not sure what the specific figures should be but if it was the same on all four I'd say the piston rings are fine!

Good luck and I'll see you later if you're successful!

Supplied to them by Sh1troen! Come and sort it then!

It would be the start of a deadly spiral/money pit! But that does look awesome!

French suspension was a good idea, so good that almost nobody else uses it!
-
I haven't got £700 to spend on suspension, plus it's a £150 car!

What he said, it'll be behind the glovebox and probably full of crap if it's never been changed!

That may have just prevented an arm-wrestling match!

I can't justify the spend mate! Plus it's comfy as it is, wouldn't want to spoil it! The migrants all died when the oil came out! Turns out it's not just birds on the beach that need cleaning when there's an oil spill!
