  1. Going for it then mate, nice one! She'll look stunning once she's been done!
  2. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!
  3. Yeah, I would like to think that a fresh clutch kit and oil in the box would see that side of things back to how they should be, the pressure plate is what's causing it, low bite and heavy pedal. The Type R was the same when I got it but had it all changed whilst I have the box rebuild done and it's spot on now
  4. Oh dear! Tell her that touch parking is just that! No scraping allowed!
  5. Oh dear! But I suppose it'll all be original! New seal and clips should see it right?
  6. You'll get there dude! I took off the Meister R coilovers, Rota Spec R alloys, custom made projector headlights, ITR air box, ITR steering wheel, EG indicator stalks, full leather interior with black fabric door cards and I think that's about it!
  7. That doesn't sound safe at all! Yeah once you've read it you'll have a good understanding of what I've done and what the lad you bought it off has done. That's a fair trek, kudos to you! I love a good road trip myself!
  8. No they weren't my doing. Where are you off to to rack up that many miles? I did take it up to Scoltand and down to Dorset and Eastbourne without issue. I just had a lot of little niggles to deal with which I spent most of the time I owned the car sorting but God only knows what happened after that.
  9. Yeah I don't fuck about usually, been there and done that
  10. Good stuff! I think at the very least I'll get the camber bolts etc so I can get the geo done properly! Still not fussed about lowering it
  11. My old build thread with lots of cursing http://civic5.com/forum/topic/7786-krzys-mb6-vti-s-sold/
  12. Distributor timing could be out possibly if it's been off since I sold it, it was fine way back then anyway. I would still check the plugs to be on the safe side but they were new last year too. Leads aren't new though.
  13. My old car I had last year. Replaced the dizzy but the chap who bought it off me took the rocker cover off to paint and then the car wouldn't start so apparently it was replaced again? The clutch was heavy the whole time I had it, I'm sure he said he replaced it... Hope it doesn't give you too much trouble!

    Mb6 lost all power

If the clutch was slipping the revs would generally rise whilst in gear without necessarily gaining any speed. Could be worth checking the spark plugs and maybe look to replace those and the leads?
  15. Nah, you need to have sex first to catch anything.
  16. @marv is the winner, congratulations dude! @DAVEMB2, could you do the honours please when you can?
  17. Mega! I'm in the same euphoria with mine, just love love love driving it! Also seems that Subaru's make good play things too
  18. Nice tints dude!
  19. For the dents that can't be dealt with by replacing panels I would suggest calling a dent removal person, might cost you a bit but usually would be much less painful than an insurance claim and the car getting written off, you'd be amazed at what they can do!
  20. You don't know until you try 😆ðŸ˜
  21. Awesome photos! Love a good thunderstorm!
  22. Ouch, I heard on the news about it, not good!
