  1. I know what you mean, can't remember it's name but they hold the pads still. Have a look on http://brakeparts.co.uk Should be able to get some from there.
  2. Can't remember but I did have it all worked out on the Mfactory gear calculator, I haven't gone all out in it yet while its bedding in, another 60ish miles of town driving and should be ready to play with!
  3. 3rd 😂 Used to be top end of 2nd! Also forgot to mention, all the mounts have poly bush inserts too! Been out in it today, LSD working nicely in the wet! Few plays accelerating with still slow and gentle changes, this box is going to be loads of fun!!! ðŸ˜
  4. Only none car people would think you were an idiot for spending that much on it! Spending on maintenance is just a fact of car ownership and while it can sting I try not to worry about that too much. It sounds to me like you might be ready for a change, for me at the minute I'm not worried about chasing power or having the fastest car for the money I've got, think old age is setting in
  5. Dude you'll never see any money spent modifying a car back, if that's the reason you do it then just don't bother, you'd cry at what I've just spent on my car! I'll never see that back, I'd be mad to think otherwise.
  6. Gearbox feels really nice to drive, can feel the car is much more eager to get up and go, changes are so smooth! I have to behave for a bit while the clutch and synchros bed in but I can't wait to abuse the crap out of it!
  7. So this happened today... Mfactory helical LSD with new bearings pre load shims oil and sealer Genuine Honda clutch Genuine Honda 5.1 ratio Genuine Honda long 6th Input shaft bearing and seal M factory 1-6 carbon synchro's Old clutch! Back together!
  8. Not sure if I'll be able to get pictures but I'll try!
  9. Was it the entire distributor you replaced or just the cap? Main relay which you mentioned is another potential cause. Its a bit annoying because even though these do have OBD (Onboard diagnostic) ports, without it throwing a light up there's no codes to read. Try taking the fuel line off where it meets the injector rail and have someone crank the engine and you'll either see fuel coming out (be sure to catch it in a container!) or you won't. That'll give you an idea what to start checking next. If fuel comes out, it's probably ignition related (Plugs, leads etc).
  10. Yeah it's easy, just need someone to help as the 'One man kits' are bollocks Start from the wheel furthest away from the master cylinder and work back towards it
  11. Oops! Good job the bulbs are largely the same!
  12. There's a challenge for you Alex!
