  2. Carnt wait to see that mani on your MB, I'm after one atm but scared of the ebay ones for some reason, let me know if you feel any power gains off it mate
  3. She should drive nice now going for a spin soon mate so ill let you know next on the list is to fit my new sump gasket that I havnt got round to doing, and get a new 4-2-1 manifold, and get some lowering springs for her. Plus loads more stuff coming up
  4. Finished puting my new clutch and gearbox in my MA the old one was well worn, took a while to bleed clutch and there was little space to work with on my drive, but I got there and I have only moved her back and forward on the drive as I need to fill the box with mtf tomorrow as the scrap yard drain it. But the clutch biting point is low so its good the new release bearing was abit noisy on first start up but settled down after, I'm going to put some decent mtf oil in her and ill let you know how she drives

  6. If I do go for a B18 swap, ill just buy a whole MB6 because it will have other things I need off body work and inside
  7. She is looking a lot better, but still have alot work to do. I'm just fitting standard D14 box with a lot less miles than mine for now, as I plan on swapping engine out soon. or put D16Z6 stuff on my D14 and turbo it!
  8. Also I finally have my new 3 piece clutch kit so ill be fitting it this week along with the newer gearbox
  9. That's a pic of the Vti lip in the process of being fitted, it's fitted properly now just went dark by the time I finished. I sprayed it matt black and it definatly makes the front look better!
  10. So will a D14A8 clutch fit as eurocar parts seem to think so.
  11. Will any D14 clutch kit fit my D14A2? If so where's the cheepest place to buy from as I'm doing the work myself, I already have the new lower milage gearbox, just need a clutch.
  12. I know its dodgy but it can be done properly depending on the car, ill get coiles anyway mate
  13. I might go for a 50mm drop I think, my mates got a corsa B and he's chopped his springs 60mm and still handles well, I always thought chopping springs is dodgy LoL

I also brought a new sump gasket buy it says D13B6 on the packet will it fit my M? as the man in the shop thinks it does, also ill have my clutch tomorrow so the new/lower mileage box is going in the factory clutch done well to last 109k
  18. Here's a few pics of how my MA is sitting now and would like to know if 50mm will be ok? 19. Right I brought some new tyres for the EP rims she's now on 195/45R16's and drives much better
  20. Well today my MA has been to get some new lower profile tyres fitted as the 205/50R16 ones were too big and made my car slower! So I got some pirelli 195/45R16's put on, and as soon as I drove away the car instantly felt better, love the way it drives now and I also went to the breakers yard and got hold of a replacement gearbox with 73k on, I have also purchaced a Vti lip off (ammarbm) so in the proces off getting that on too And she is being slammed soon! Now she's on smaller tyres. Just need ideas on how low I should go. Ill get some pics up tomoz of the tyres before and after so you can see the difference
