    Seen this car in the flesh as it's the guy I got the decat and cat back system from. The work is top notch but shame he didn't realise the rules of the site.

    You can get cheap 106 gti's strip them. Drop them and stick on a turbo and you have a rocket of a car. A friend of mine has one with a high lift cam, forced induction kit,remap half cage, super sprint catback with decat and dropped on the torsion beam on the back with better shocks and springs all round. It handles like a go kart and shifts really well. Think all in its only cost him 3k inc buying the car.

    Yes I love the look of it and the sound when vtec comes alive is just pure awesome. I had a play with a mate in his dc2 integra that has been slightly modified and he wasn't pulling away from me. Not even an inch!!! Happy but I know I can get a few more ponies from it after a good clean up, service and then play with the timing etc. after that I think it will be time for a socketed ecu and get it mapped. That should do me for a little bit. But am seriously considering the turbo route as the guy who I got the decat system from said he would make me a nice ram horn style turbo manifold for 350 quid!! Hmmmmmmm decisions decisions.

    So yesterday I managed to get the garage completely cleared out and then proceeded to refit the n1 replica to the decat system. Sounds a lot louder and the bum dyno is happy too. Got a video but my YouTube account isn't working when uploading from my iPad (ggrrrrr) so for now here's a picture of it for you all. Also extended the backbox so it sits out from the bumper nicely.

    Blocked cat converter?? I had this on an old Mitsubishi charisma I had a few years back. Gutted the cat and serviced it and it ran right as rain after that.

    Considering painting them black or white at the moment until I get some wheels. Am liking the look of some fat 5's but haven't seen if they fit on an aerodeck yet

    I only use super unleaded as I notice it runs smoother and cleaner too as well as more efficient and powerful. Also with the correct oil, fuel, spark plugs and correct timing the car can be a lot faster than one that is in standard trim on super stuff. Also every full tank I put in gets a bottle of octane booster in it just to help. I'd also advise that if you are considering switching over to get the most benefit from it use a bottle of injector cleaner and get them cleaned that way you will have no gunk fro crappy unleaded in them. when on the super unleaded do an ecu reset as this will essentially set the sensors correctly as well . Hope this helps

    It's got the decat on too. Think it's quiet just due to the rear box. Once the whole exhaust has some heat in it after a bit of a razzing it sounds a bit louder. However I want more noise haha

    Sounds raspy and throaty yet quiet when cruising and at idle. I don't. Like it. I need more noise!!!!

    We'll guys it's on. But it's quieter than I expected. I think it has got basically a standard rear silencer with a tip welded onto it. So what I'm going to do next Friday is refit the spoon replica backbox to it and hopefully that will bring moar noise. Video yet again got corrupted damn thing is doing my head in, so unfortunately no video but will put pic up shortly.

    It's the seal on the inside at the back of the lense. It's like a rubbery foam and might not be lined up or have moss on it. Clean it and reseat it

    Updates!!!!!!! First of all this was a merge pain in the arse to fit. Had to get my Drexel in behind the glovebox and trim away plastic to get the extra cables through so that the unit would fit in there. The pipercross viper is fitted but I need to trim my metal pipe down a tad more so I can fit the air feed pipe to the front of the filter. The spoon replica I've fitted but not extended as I have the new system coming at the end of the month but this is how it looks. And one from a distance. You can see it sits behind a bout 5 inches but like I said waiting to get the decat and system on before I cut it about. Did take a video but my stoopid phone has corrupted the file and photobucket won't work uploading another one I done so will charge the digicam and do a video once I have the system on.     Was a single system to a dual back box with the pipe looping around the spare wheel well to the other side

    Don't say that because on my old one I was going to do twin bike cans on the back but power flow wanted 450 quid to do it.

    Blowing at the joint. My fault as didn't want to over tighten the bolts and the middle donut bit isn't quite aligned. Will do it this Friday coming
