Dave
Hi guys! We are currently looking to enlarge our list of traders, and would like to hear from you all about companies you have used more than once that you think might be able to offer olur members a good deal on parts or services, whether mechanical or paint/powder coating, tuning etc We have already contacted Grinspeed and TDiNorth, but both are too busy to be able to work in the forum just now. But there are loads of other reputable companies out there that could be worth a shout. We are also contacting various Honda dealerships to see if any wish to come on board. MB3Matt
Dark Ice designs are a good shout. Great reviews on the MG pages about them. Maybe Robert Horner on facebook might be interested, he's a Honda specialist, doing everything from welding arches to engine swaps? Has a fantastic rep in the Honda community. beastgtir
These companies just want the big fish.. All in it for the $$$One of the above ones is on facebook 24/7 and civinfo/ctro all hours of the day. They just don't want our custom tbh. Traders you can try contacting are.Funky PowerH tuneTegiwaHond-RFL PerformanceEurospecCPLHendy performance/Honda Thing is, unlike CTRO with 1000's of users and mugs who pay £2500 for an intercooler to be fitted we have a small community and most mods are on a smaller basis. So its better to skip the tuners as not a lot of people will use their services. Also we need to get our original members/traders back too like rich/dynodaze and others.
fyfie5
How about this place?http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.ukI'm hoping to get them to powdercoat my wheels. they are pretty good, bit pricey but decent quality finished product, one of my friends used them for his splits. Dave
Yeah, the big tuners are only interested in one or two clubs, which is disappointing but understandable I suppose. Rich and dynodaze are still here, but know they are really busy nowadays. Will contact some of the above, see if we can get them onboard chaps
Roj
I want to buy some Magnecors from Funky Power so if we could get some discount codes with them before August that'd be great.
Dave
I had great service from faz at funkypower a few years back, so will contact him soon to see if they'd be interested in the forum. They were civic5 traders a long time ago, but left as they too were too busy for forums, might be OK now though. Will try the others mentioned too
