May be nothing but that car aint run right since  the N/S engine  mount broke or snapped or sumit when having belt fitted in that area anyway...

or may have been someone else ?

could look at vac pipes also in that area as well a wiring

Obviously timing is important. But if you have the dizzy in the middle the car will start and run. Only if you go to extremes it will fail to run.

so it will be fine until you get it into garage or whatever to setup with a gun.

Noodles thanks for more info. I just hope I haven't bought a dud, I just want a reliable bloody car :( lol. With the problems I'm having now, water coming in, not running right etc I feel I've waste 1500 quid. Still needs a clutch. Wiring has sort of been checked out, and it was either ecu or dizzy, I've got both parts coming next week off a friend, he's gonna give me a hand too. But it's worthless as it is atm :(

is the water coming in really badly is it mate?

Yeah waters coming in everytime it rains :( any suggestions or does it mean strip the headliner back?

Yeah I got rid for £1100 as I needed the driveway space for the Type R! 

 

Some people use silicon on the inside of the windscreen in the top corners, might help in the short term?
