civicturbo79 Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 They have done that to save shearing off the bolts as they will be siezed on so they have cut the standard exhaust and sleeved over the top of it , but thats not right they should put the work in and if the bolts snap replace them and do the job right , take it back and tell them them you want it right . noodels Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 doubt a 2.5 inch will fit that flange wont be enough room.perhaps why sports cat is used lots.would have to measure to see max pipe ability or use another cat of itr ?with 2.5 outlet.. KiNK43 Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 does kinda defeat the point of having a large diameter exhaust. as you are always going to have a bottle neck at that point if you decide to decat and mani.i think you should make contact with them as mentioned. see how willing they are to do the job right!
