well a little bit more done on the car today.

 

head is back on with a genuine head gasket to go along with the genuine stem seals. I also used my ARP headbolts

all torqued up ready to get the cams in tomorrow and then get it all timed up!!

yep, had to helicoil one of the rocker cover holes as I stripped the thread, otherwise it would've been further by now haha.

 

but I have just done that so will be cracking on today when I get up

Good work mate glad your learning aswell it's not as complicated as you think either when you take them apart and see how it all works.

all timed up!! ready for the last few bits to be done before getting all back together and waiting for my new hoses to turn up

Well done dude. Looking sweet some top work there!!! Amazing how much room around the engine. Lots of space for timing belt etc.

cheers man :) ye I love having room around the engine to work :D and its nice to have a garage big enough to work on the car, shame it doesn't have electric though
