Grant
Think the kitchen will yet again be a temp spray booth. Want to get the rear chrome de-chromed this w/e and then rebadged. As soon as I figure out the best way to take the sticky stuff off without scratching the paint work. Suggestions??

I think others use a wire or similar to remove the badge, then a tar/glue remover to clean the bodywork behind it!
Grant
Sticky stuff?? Or should I not ask. From the glue Nick! Baby wipes work well on the other stuff! Can I borrow your kitchen? You can buy sticky stuff remover? I think others use a wire or similar to remove the badge, then a tar/glue remover to clean the bodywork behind it!I'm not too worried about getting them off, done that plenty of times, bit of dental floss and a gentle hand with a screwdriver! But I've always done it on silver cars, which won't show up scratches like a black one does! So tar remover and then a good polish??

I'm sure Nick will correct or confirm it, he knows more about these things! I want to sort the VTi-S badge out on mine at some point, paint flaking off! NIKH25
What is it you're planning to do with badging, I can never remember what it was Tom used when he debadged his but it did a good job.If nothing else iron x or clay will take any residue off.
