Nice work going on your mb2 mate. . Once you start spending there is no end to it lol :D.. put more pics up mate as we love pics on here. . How much you got the mg zs interior for and did those citreon jets fit properly? I was looking at jazz mist washers but they are so expensive and these ones are much cheaper.

Not had a chance to try the washers yet. Today I got new rubber on the front and figured out my rubbing brake problems. I cleaned off some rust and brake dust build up, which allowed the pad to sit better and move freer.

The mg zs console/arm rest were £45 posted which seemed reasonable. Still waiting for the grey trim pieces to show up next week. I splurged on a new head unit today, so will get that fitted tomorrow.

I'll get some pics tomorrow :)

So I spent most of the afternoon doing some tidying up around the engine bay. I painted manifold heat shield and de-rusted a number of the mounts and gave them a quick coat of black paint. Here's a bunch of photos :)

I decided to take a look at my dizzy cap. It looks like it may have been replaced recently, its very clean inside.

I noticed oil build up in a nice straight line below the rocker panel. Does this suggest I could do with replacing the gasket, or is it normal dirt build up?

Good work, I wouldn't bother changing the gasket unless you remove the cover, it doesn't look like much.

Dizzy does look new, how on earth did you get this pic?

Thanks guys. Stillplenty more to keep me busy in the engine bay, but this week I'll hopefully sorting out the interior bits and bobs assuming the last trim pieces arrive. I also splurged on a new head unit :) Looking forward to getting that fitted.
