Look what arrived.

I used this how to when I did mine, http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1086-how-to-paint-your-rocker-cover-to-an-oem-finish/ but I got a spare one so I could spray it off the car, then swapped it over and sprayed mine and sold it on, which covered the cost of the paint. Free modding.

No point in the f series better off getting d16z6 or something easier to swop and same sort of horse power.

Seal is easy to change if thats what your on about... Rocker cover off, seal sits in a lip that goes all around the edge, old one out new one in.... May be different, my rocker cover is different! Lol

Sweet looks very nice

B 20 tad more torquey. With a vtec head on they usually make around 185bhp. B20z is the better choice for higher rpm. Also f series used in prelude and accord is very different to s 2000 engine. It's more like a larger displacement d series. Sohc!

U thought bout powder coating ur rocker cover. That's what I'm doing to mine when I get round to it. 45quid due to fact I want 2 colours. Black with the red writing so it needs done twice. If it wasn't for that it would b 35

Cheers mate! They don't look bad as a look but they're not that bright on the road tbh! Meh, they'll do for now lol! Thats a real shame mate! Spose you gotta expect that in this country lol mine gets filthy going to work every day but should be moving soon closer to work so cleaner car + save tonnes on petrol too WIN! Lol Cars deffo have emotions guys! Treat em well, they'll stay happy for you I believe when you alter a cars look you don't just make it look different but your adding personality!! You can make cars look soft, subtle, mean... Even make then look faster than they are or slower than they are, i.e the sleeper look lool!!!

It's easy, just time consuming preparing it for the respray! Same procedure as spraying up alloys and brake calipers.. Sand it down to the bare surface with sand paper and a wire brush to get into the awkward placesClean off the dust with a damp sponge or cloth (I also used brake cleaner)Stuff rags, cloths or kitchen roll in the spark plug locators and oil cap to stop paint going into the threads and seals Spray 3 coats of normal primer (normal or heat primer - optional)2 coats of paint (Again optional on normal or heat paint)I haven't used high heat paint or high heat primer, just normal stuff. And so far the paint is holding up well on my MB3. At the time people were telling me different things on how to do my rocker cover. But for the best lasting results, I would use high heat primer and paint for sure

It's not recommended to flush these engines mate, the only way to do it is to empty the old oil, pop in a couple of litres of cheap stuff, run it for a while, drain and refill with good oil. Very nice brakes.
