  6. I just stumbled across a headlight restoration kit from a parts shop I'll try and dig it out of the garage and find out the make. Yeh I am going to put a new exhaust on it I just wanted it on the road quick so I just went for a cheap quick fix I have been looking for a new system but don't want it to be too big and loud.

  8. Or the other way is to remove the rubber bungs in the boot and underseal the boot so it wont rot also runs off nicely, worked in my aerodeck stopped it smelling like wet dog. Tiger seal all round the windows mate less of the £500 chat that's silly in a few years they would leak too, most windscreen fitters use tiger seal anyway or black sikkerflex caravan shops sell it, the best sealent you can buy they fix caravans together with it. many cheap ways to fix a leak just don't panic and take your time finding the actual leak, if you want help pipe up mate don't sell a VTI-S just coz of some leaks...........to many gone already and when your back off your trip you will have cash and regret it. go Sutton get some tiger seal and get dirty Krzys..

  9. i've ran steel nuts on the wagon for about 3 years, the same set of Muteki neo chrome ones, have had no problems apart from the inside going rusty, but i do my nuts up very tight and would strip the thread in aluminium nuts straight away

  10. I been using d1 alloy nuts for last year. Well my wheels haven't fell off and cars been driven hard.. But I was starting to notice threads dropping out when they were removed and getting harder to put back on. So bought some steel nuts that will hopefully last a lifetime.

  11. @vtec2011 cheers man much appreciated. wheels are 16x9 ET20 on the back and 16x8 ET25 on the front, tempted to go for some 16x9 ET20 all round but it's hard enough to turn with only 8's!! i dont know how low it is mate, its as low as i can get it without breaking anything and without it looking silly. yep got camber arms and rolled arches

  16. Well what a game i had last night/this morning fitting this bloody manifold! Started at 7pm and finally had it back together and running at 1:30am Here's a few picys - This is halfway through (about 10pm!) finally got the old manifold off! Just a note, if you ever plan on doing this, get it on a ramp or jack the b*****d up as getting to the bracket underneath the manifold is a pig! Both manifolds on bench, swapping injectors and sensors etc (10:30pm-11pm) Quick side by side comparison before fitting Manifold test fitted (12:30am) All back together and running! (1:30am) Was a much bigger job than i thought it would be but feck me it was worth it! The sound is immense and the difference its made to the mid range and top end is crackers! Feels much faster and responsive. Just need to take it to dynodaze to get it back on the rollers and see what difference its actually made. Need to get my hands on a new 70mm+ induction kit now

  17. Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated The rear Lower control arms were a little tired so i purchased some cyberspeed ones and thought as i will be opening all the rear i might aswell get a subframe brace too so i opted for the Function7 one over the ASR brace. Bolts were not much of an issue so it was an easy install. cyberspeed LCA's, Function7 subframe brace and a beaks bar Just before fitting all this i gave it a good going over with underseal and its like new under there Pics also show the new true 2.5" mandrel bend exhaust system spec list will be uploaded later
