  2. oh, well it happens, eeerrrrr I guess. lol, thanks for the compliments I used some Konig bases and they fit pretty good. one hole is off just by a few cm's but that no problem. nothing my Dewalt cant handle. yeah, it could have been a lot worse. at least the car was drivable. I went to Honda today to get a price quote on the seats and carpet and found out they don't make them anymore and cant order them.

  4. The other VTi-S one is like a half plastic half leatherette thing, nice to use when it's hot or cold.

  5. Car washed with Meguiars ultimate wash and wax and waxed after with Simoniz instant wax. Pretty good for just £6! Total time washing, drying and waxing: 40 mins Not a blinding clean. I hate cleaning the car. The waxing did highlight the numerous paint imperfections. Several small dings, paint peel on the rear bumper, some arch rust and a fair few scratches! Overall paintwork is pretty dull. Or maybe because it's silver? Imo, it needs a good polish to iron out most of them then a decent waxing! I also did pick this up plus a new filter. I've been running Fuchs Titan 5w-40 fully synthetic for the past 6+ months.

  6. Umm... that too I only wanted to see what they're like for the first time fitting them Thanks dude! But they will still be a tad too small as the fog lights I got are slightly bigger than the genuines

  7. That's probably because the exhaust is stopping the floorpan from getting it

  9. Right, I still need to research the hub size of both, these wheels, and my cars, but opinions needed: Here is one of the set I will be buying (possibly) -

  10. Second that, there's been a bit of a myth over the years about faster racks. The MGZS mark 1 has the same rack as the civics. You'll need a post-2004 mark 2 rack. Same goes for the DC racks, they're all almost exactly the same. It does sound like a worn rack to me. I put a 1992 Teg rack in mine which didn't cost the earth (£50 max) & as mentioned above, the slack can be taken up; I've just done this in the last month & it makes a massive improvement every time, although it does require a special 40mm spanner, about £25 from a honda dealer, unless you want to drop the subframe each time!

  11. well I am back from Belgium from school. while I was there it rained soooo much that my car got flooded out by the over flow of water. had to pull out the carpet and let the car air out. the good thing is it allowed me to test fit my Recaro seat and see how it felt. I used a Konig seat base and some sliders that came with the seat. fits nice and snug and the Recaro is oh so comfortable.

  12. cheers for the responses guys, (i wish that was my mexico lol) just a quick update on the exhaust... it wont fit, i got a decat and their was still a gap so i got one of those extension pieces and then it was long enough but the holes wouldn't marry up anyway to cut a long story short ive got a teg manifold on and the bolt holes that meet the cat are horizontal as opposed to about a 45 degree angle on the c4 manifolds so i either need an adjustable decat so i can spin it to fit or i need a c4 manifold, My mate has a brand new manifold and we are going to trial it today and if it works no doubt ill be buying it of him lol that b20 build sounds easy when you put it like that lol this is why i've mentioned it this early so i can get as much research in as possible as it comes off the road in January so not long now! decent figures with the B20 build but from what i did hear before people were saying the teg head is the best on the b20 build, then something about picking the right pistons for the compression, and then adding vtec or something but with them figures it worth looking into and finding rough costs @Krzys yeah i wouldn't sell my exhaust on here i've put it on the facebook page bud

  13. Future-proofed! You haven't adjusted your hand brake properly. Wind the centre console screw OUT fully, so that the hand brake doesn't work at all (releasing the tension built up on the springs on the rear calipers - the cables should be slack at the caliper ends, and the spring mechanisms should have returned all the way to their end stops). Then turn ON the engine to start the power assisted braking. Then pump the foot brake about 20 times to push out the caliper pistons on to the discs fully (this winds them out to their maximum possible extent with the pads you have in there). Then, stop your engine again, and pull the hand brake up ONE click, and ONE click ONLY. THEN wind the centre console screw IN, until both rear discs only just start dragging on the brake pads a bit, but consistently. Then that's it. If your calipers are working fine, and the auto-tensioner spring mechanisms are not corroded or jammed (make sure the springs on the rear calipers are nicely lubed up and free moving), then you should be able to pull up on your hand brake and be fully locked on a hill at somewhere between 6 and 10 clicks (to pass an MOT). Obviously, to do all this readjustment, you should have the back of the car up off the ground on axle stands. Good luck.
