  1. The OEM trailing arm bushes are designed to be softish. Under braking the bushes flex slightly which introduces a 'toe in' effect which helps with stability under braking. Changing to Poly bushes would compromise braking stability (under heavy braking I may add). I personally would keep them OEM as the manufacturer developed those braking characteristics. But it's whatever Dawn would have wanted, as this is just an opinion

  4. Right, not posted on here for a long while...so thought i would update with some christmas and birthday goodies i recieved for the car. First up was a new steering wheel and boss kit from my mum for xmas. Black suede with red stitching wheel from Kode. Much smaller than the original tiller and nicer feel too. Boss kit from ebay, just a cheapie but does the job. Then i recieved this from my Boss must be from the years of loyal service i guess!! Either way, well over the moon, always wanted a private reg. Then moving onto my birthday, just one car related gift from the wifey what a complete pain in the a*s to fit/wire, followed the guide and got there eventually. I have remote locking back woop woop! And thats it so far. More to come soon i hope. Cheers for looking

  5. Will deffo be replacing with honda OEM bushes. Thinking about getting new trailing arms, which I can paint or powder coat before they are fitted. Will be my start on detailing the underside of the car Painter hasn't got back to me with a price for full respray yet, so undecided if she's going there or if I'm going to do it myself. Massive job, but the rewards for doing it myself would be huge.

  6. Great news that all went well with the track day mate Great to see people using there cars for track fun....but it IS daunting for most to take their daily drive onto a track where barriers and other drivers could damage it. Such a buzz doing track days and glad car was flawless....as I knew it would be

  10. It'll be worth the money even if it seems a lot! Upgrade the brake fluid if you're flushing it, well worth it even if you're not driving her silly

  13. I prefer girls names for cars, it comes across odd if you tell people you're about to enter Rupert's back door with your helmet!

  14. So yesterday after a nice rest I thought I'd shock myself, the car and everybody I know by giving the car a second clean in the space of a few weeks myself! Here's my blueish brake disc Doesn't look that bad to start with! Most of this came from the track session. Shiny again! Much better! Could smell burnt brake as I was cleaning the wheels! Proper job! Also gave the interior a quick spruce up in the way of dusting and cleaning the dash and doors. Windows are still decent inside and I'll hoover the mats another day.
