Hi mate. Its sad to see you selling up, but can uinderstand why. Our new forum rules are that anyone with a minimum of 100 posts (non spam posts) can now sell in our classifieds section (click on the button in the main forum navigation menu bar). New members still cant use it, but once they hit 100 posts they get automatically upgraded to the Member group, and can then start using it. Just a wee security measure to keep scammers at bay As you have over 100 posts, you can use the classifieds section mate. Its a really neat app, giving proper ads that look similar to Ebay/gumtree etc. The wee fee is only 50p per ad, which will help with the costs for the ap and the forum.3 points

I've been using cars at work or the BMW for a bit now that I'm 22 and on the traders at the garage lol, driven some right sheds.. and some right beauties! Yeah the fuel light wasn't even on! It was on 1/4 but cause it was the same fuel that got me back from Mimms and I hate going out 'just to fill up' I thought I'd put £30 in to get some V power points and so I don't have to worry about going out and not having fuel!1 point

Oh I get it now. My MB3 is as low as my MB6 at the rear for a similar reason.1 point

Shame really as it sounded like a good project! @Dave has just made some changes which include letting newbies with fewer posts sell goods, but there's a small fee involved!1 point

Nope, not found the hedge of choice yet! That's a while mate! Thought I was doing well with tanks lasting 2-4 weeks at a time!1 point

Would defo get the rear wheels balanced too. Failing that, check for bearing play/noise. Also should've changed the track rod ends in a pair. So worth doing the left too. And finally it could be a driveshaft issue.1 point

If that's directed at me? Nope! Japfest prep has begun though, I've put petrol in! Shockingly until yesterday afternoon I was still running on the petrol that got me from Mimms to home.. shows how much I use it!1 point

All you need to do is go to acewraps.co.uk or find him on the Facebook page, just mention me (Simpo)not Adam lol and civic5 and you will have a 10% discount! He's going to be attending japfest so can have a chat with him there if anyone's interested.1 point

Generally speaking planting your foot to the floor is a good test. The ecu will ignore the lambda at full throttle. So in theory in you have power loss and it all of a sudden improves when you go full throttle. That's po2.pointing at O2. If problem still persists at full throttle maybe look elsewhere1 point

I was wondering what that noise hitting my car was when I was behind you at a safe distance following the speed limit.1 point

Uuuupdate! Drove to Leicester on Friday for the start of the 'Furious Mimms Weekend' as we put it. Arrived in Leicester to be greeted by this beauty on @Sorivity driveway: I know right, isn't that clio an absolute stunner! The S14a that boxes it in isn't too bad either I suppose. We started sorting out Sorivity/Andys car on the Friday, and the Saturday but I'll let him update that in his thread. Everyone then cleaned their cars (thanks again Andy for cleaning mine! Appreciate it a lot man), watched Fast 7, then once everyones cars were looking presentable we went for a photoshoot. Props to our mate Richard for the pictures. ^ Andy your car looks amazing in that pic My favourite shot of my car from that evening. Werewolf, full moon. ^ ^ The next morning me and @Roj set off for the Mimms meeting point, we somehow did a 50 minute journey in 31 minutes including a 5 minute fuel stop.. Somehow. Amazing convoy. ^ Then we were joined by everyone else, and some random EPcivic people. ^ Mimms! Had a good day out at Mimms, a lot more variety than I was expecting, and was nice meeting you all and seeing your cars as well as watching @UnicyclingTom and @Krzys battle it out on track! Post Mimms, well when driving back to Leicester for a quick rest before driving back home after Mimms my car started making a familiar noise. A noise I'd heard before when my downpipe springbolt had snapped. Oops. I drove it the 130 or so miles back home and then yesterday at work put it on the ramp and surprise surprise.. Luckily I had a spring bolt spare from when the OTHER one went, in hindsight I should've changed both at the same time, but oh well, sorted now and car sounds as it should.. or does it? After hearing Krzys EP3 at Mimms I've been wanting that intake noise, so with help from Krzys on what to order (thanks again!) I've ordered the S2000 intake setup he's currently running. Will it heatsoak in London traffic? Probably. Will I care with THAT intake noise? Probably not. But yeah that's the update for now!1 point
