Well I actually span 3 times. First time was my first lap, tyres were not hot enough and that's when I cracked my trailing arm which made it very tail happy for the rest of the day. 2nd time was to hard on the brakes and it span round and punted a hay bail and 3rd time was my last lap of the day through the very fast s bend near the last corner, because of not having much experience on track I was letting people past all day, came out of that s with a mx5 on my chuff so pulled to the left to let him passed, big mistake, car went sideways right over to that big grass banking and over the banking sideways and came off the other side backwards. I really thought the car was going to roll when I hit that. The marshals said it made their day as they have never seen such an off haha. Car was a bit bent from the front tow eyes digging into the ground but I've managed to straighten it using some 4x4s haha.3 points

Hello all. It's been a while. Gona do another build for my current car. I've had a few mbs and mcs which I will show you. You may recognise a couple. Nothing special. This is my first one. White mb22 points

My k sport coilovers were pretty b****red so it was time for a change so I picked up some Hsd momopro coilovers which sit much lower than the ksports and a brand new set of white Pro race 3s which I'd been after for a while2 points

Anyway after I got it home it was all cleaned up and poured some oil through it and cranked it over by hand to make sure it was OK. I put a new cambelt kit on it and Waterpump, the rocker cover from the b18, got some nice Magnacore kv85 leads and swapped the s4c gearset into the s9b casing. Also got a full mongoose exhaust system and japspeed manifold to go with it and in it went.2 points

I then remembered my mate had a b16a2 sat in his garage for years, 14 years to be exact. So I gave him a call and went to pick it up. Also got the s4c gearbox with it2 points

The interior from the vti was transferred into it also got the vti clocks and master cylinder and manual conversion bits such as pedal box and clutch slave fitted.2 points

It started life as a d16 auto so I needed to swap the chassis mount from the auto one to a manual one.2 points

I recently had a track day coming up so needed to get some stuff done. Had the rear arb from the vti powder coated and bought some brand new L brackets bushes and links and got it fitted. I also fitted the front vti arb when I built the car. It also has 282mm mgzs disks and new 282 front calipers with ebc blue stuff pads and some braided lines. Also my cv boots were b****red so got some new shafts from j&r. It also got some fresh millars nanodrive 10w40 oil and a hamp filter and some fresh mtf3 box oil1 point

I had to find some better wheels so came across these pro race 1.2s. Love them and they suit the car. Still got them now too1 point

The wheels I had on were borrowed so had to quickly find some more so picked up these horrible old tsws1 point

I then had all the panels to swap over from the old car as I didn't like the dark green and it didn't come with wings anyway.1 point

I then had 1 weekend in which to swap everything else over on to the new shell including fitting the b18c4 from the vti and have it ready for a mot on Monday morning. It was a hard weekend but I got it done1 point

I then bought a mb6 to strip as it was rotten but mainly just wanted the engine for my current car1 point

I then got it In bits to see if I could salvage anything but no. It was all gone. Here's what one of the bearings looked like0 points

I didn't make it to work or make it to the test station. I made a huge mistake thinking it had wiring issues and drove it with the oil light on. It managed 27 miles until it died. That's it. The 74k miles healthy none smoking b18 was dead. I was gutted. Starved it of oil because I'd fitted a sandwich plate and blocked it off by mistake.0 points
