Yep, it might beat you away from the lights but you'll catch it quick enough as the driver stops to look for a powerpoint.3 points

I've not really had much to update on the MB3. It's still being my reliable (to a degree) workhorse, helping me keep people safe from evil extension cables. I've ordered some stickers for it to hopefully finish the rear window. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251387070453?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250870727727?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250820114346?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648 I'll get pictures once they're all on. Should look sweet.3 points

I took a couple more photos last night. The ITR air box in it's current placement. The rocker cover is just an embarrassment but further down the to-do list right now. My windscreen sealing As long as it stays dry now I can clean up that damp stain with upholstery cleaner. Nice clean plates and beading3 points

And we're in! what an effort but i have moved in! the van was so handy despite being a reno traffic. The garage shed extension is actually bigger than i remember but bad news theres damp everywhere! all the main beams i can see are soaked, once i rip the total DIY bodgy cealing he put in there i can see the damage but i rekon its the roof nails. Using the pieces of chip board from the old wardrobe i will make a bench with draws. Getting there now, i dont think ill find the time to do my wheels this week lol.3 points

I might be interested in the 15's... Good excuse to do an hub conversion and bigger brakes upgrade...3 points

Yes, European launch probably spring next year, this is a concept though so it probably won't look exactly like that, arches added rather than part of the bodywork, 19" rims with 20" as an option, I like this quote though;2 points

My arches have been cut out and replaced. Inner arch too. £400. They are perfect no rust yet. I even looked inside recently and still good as gold2 points

Shame to hear that. I think I'll be trying out lots of different things on the MB3 in the coming months. Go a bit wild.2 points

yes yes and a hammer Top Gear Quote "such a pikey tool" LOL but yes you do need one of those as well...2 points

x2 on the CV joint, full lock it in a car park or open space and if it's that you'll usually hear a clicking as you move forward/backwards! Lock it both ways to check both sides!2 points

I've not long gotten an iBone, that would be cool until you get a dirty text up on the screen while taking your gran somewhere!2 points

Sounds good except for the fact the rears are already too low so if he cuts a coil off the front tyres are going to lose contact with the road, Maybe one off the front.2 points

Was one of the first things I noticed about the t1r's1 point

Ooh mate love the new rims. I enquired about those tuning boxes for my mazda. There just a resistor.. but apparently they do work just can cause a lot of sooty smoke from the exhaust. Seems good for the money1 point

Don't get disheartened, it's just wear and tear, you have to expect stuff like that when they get to this age and a garage should be able to diagnose it for you. And it could be worse, imagine if you'd bought a sh1tron.1 point

Damn that's nice. There was a c6 one for sale on eBay a while back. Massive spec sold for about 8 grand iirc1 point

I'm looking into HID's now, hopefully get some soon so I can actually see on unlit roads but it's interesting to see the difference in colour between the fogs and headlamps. Nice looking MB4 you have.1 point

Having said that a friends ej9 was done and they lasted about 6 months and started going. Cheap crap job I reckon.1 point

Poor Becca.. Re stickers mate sohc vtec is such a must mate and i seen the MB Squad ones about but i not seen the third one will be different which is a win from me.....1 point
-
Basically yes. The 98 spec one is s/steel and is reported to give excellent results often much better than aftermarket manifolds. The 96 spec is cast, the same as ours but is also apparently better but nowhere near as sought after or expensive. They both have larger collectors though so you will need a decat or sports cat.1 point

Could be worth sending 10000rpm on here a PM, he breaks cars for parts so may be able to help!1 point

Hopefully I'll be able to add to the wonderfulness. I want to try to get as much done before Japfest, since I'll be on the Civic5 stand.1 point

Yeah the earlier you catch it the less work you'll need doing so should cost you less, if you just have a bubble they may just sand it back and paint it!1 point

Not at all but wanted people to make a fuss of having it rather than just thinking "Oh right, yeah...." Another member has been Sir Esq'd today!1 point

Cheers dude! I'm just impressed I managed to do it on my own! Trying to arrange fetching the other set of wheels I want! Then that's the "winter" and "show" sets bought and I can then sell the 15's! Both sets will be getting colour changes but the "show" set are in a good way and can go straight on as they are to help me out!1 point
