  1. proberly but its only a 250ml bottle mate, & not cheap stuff! but they do Fabric Cleanse @ £8 and that cleans almost all fabric's 1"£££$££"!! Think it'll do my man juice sock under the bed?
  2. pics pics pics! amazing that these cars can be had so cheaply. nice one
  3. should be cel flashing when you short the pin. seems strange. but yes your car will have obd1 error codes. although the ecu is obd2a, its kind of a mish mash of obd1 and 2 i think.
  4. Yes thanks mate. I will get new rubber bushes.
  5. Your right it is very annoying. I want to replace mine. Thats the thing tho. The shocks I can afford dont come with top moumts so if I reuse mine as they are il be back to square one

    koni str.t

ok thanks. i have decided against them now. i have found some fk coilovers that are getting good reviews and are even cheaper than the konis. so i think they are a winner
  7. right i have had a sort of knock/click from two corners of the car when pulling off and braking for a while now. i am under the assumption that its the top mounts making the noise.. so i have decided to buy some fk coilovers. but i will need to reuse my old top mounts! so my question is what parts do i need to replace on the mounts. is it just the rubber bush piece or anything else aswell. google has confused me even more, many people saying theres a 'strut top bearing' that needs to be replaced. is this correct as im not familiar with this bearing part. thanks for any help. jake
  8. im positive that the rear bar does fit. you just have to cut away a small piece of the bracket either end. appologies if thats not the case. but i have researched it before and sure you can
  9. great first car there, looks in real nice shape too.

    koni str.t

hi, does anyone have any opinions on the koni str.t shocks? also any pics of ride height with them fitted would be nice if anyone has them. also finally any links where to buy them? ive seen kits for ek and eg. would either of them do? thanks. jake
  11. Well if temp drops dramatically on open road. Then you probably have got thermostat issue. But probably worth cleaning iacv as maintanence anyway. It's easy to get at and do.
  12. If it gets upto temp as normal then I don't think thermostat. Try cleaning the iacv. Maybe its choked up if high milage or mainly town driving
  13. where didi you get the bonnet spacers paul? ive wanted some for a while and not got round to looking yet. was nice to see you mb yesterday. looks and sounds great dude!
  14. Cap and rotor not gonna do it. It's the ignitor in the dizzy starts playing up. You need to change the whole dizzy. Search ebay for tdu86. I baught one last year for 70 quid and its still going strong. Good luck.
  15. New Honda mtf can be a miracle cure. But could also be clutch or synchro problem. Unlikely synchros if all gears crunch though. I'd say change for genuine mtf and give it a few miles to work its way in. See if that helps.
  16. that code means you need new dizzy
  17. awesome mate. they look amazing! haha is that neil in the background? i think his feet are concreted in outside your house! will see you later.
  18. nice job mate, glad its sorted. and congrats on your upgraded status! im off round yours now to borrow the compressor etc. get my other wishbone bushes in! wahoo. cant wait for em to be done. finally.
