  1. looks better after that wash mate! under the hood though is.... well...... as for wire tuck, how far you planning on going? battery in boot? just headlight loom? engine loom aswel? I have done all of that basically so check out my thread, I should have a fair few pictures of the tuck on there and where I routed everything. if not I can probably find some on my phone for you
  2. or if you want the proper Honda number its 90108-ST3-E01
  3. also is the dial still loose>]?
  4. check the cables in the footwell mate, that's your best bet
  5. there isn't much difference between engines I don't think man, just the gearbox mainly I think!
  6. like I said just go have a chat to the MOT tester and see what he says
  7. just go and have a chat to the MOT tester, give him a reach around for the test and your sorted
  8. they say the same price on lings, but if you ring up and say you need the part, but say you'll pay cash, you'll usually get it cheaper but no paperwork. that's how mine works anyway haha
  9. ye mines a little squeaky aswel so I need to do mine once I take off my gearbox
  10. right most people use Lingshondaparts.com for getting the part for there car or knowing what part is needed to get. if you ring a Honda Dealership and quote the reference number, they will tell you to do a little more research, or they will ask for your REG so they will have to search for the part themselves, which wastes both their time and yours! I did a bit of searching online and found on another forum how to overcome this and get the Genuine number for your dealership!! It was an Accord forum I found it on so I'm not taking credit for it. so lets say we wanted a part for my aerodeck engine, D16W4. I would put in my Reg when it asked me and I needed a water pump. so you would find the page with the water pump on This link will bring up the page http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_car_parts_selection_pfk.php?block_01=17S1E01&block_02=E__1500&block_03=7829 if you delete _pfk in the Address line, but only those for characters!! not the full stop after otherwise it wont work http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_car_parts_selection.php?block_01=17S1E01&block_02=E__1500&block_03=7829 It will now bring up the Genuine Honda Part number for you! Lings only seems to do UK Based models which is annoying
  11. D16 HRV should have one mate, done a parts search with the Honda code which is 36281-P2P-A01
  12. oooo we posting up pictures of lights now?? here's mine
  13. just spilled the beans there! get some more pictures up mate
  14. ye that would be good! @Dave would it be easier to move the thread?
  15. ok so you might have a little leak from somewhere, but near enough all honda engines will leak at somepoint, usually just a little and nothing to worry about. but pictures will e good though please
  16. it will probably be him or rich i think his name is, but there all sound over there. and they know what there on about, Maz has helped me over the phone without even seeing what i was having trouble with. he's definately a honda guru!!
