  1. Id have said you would have to empty it manually,(quote me if im wrong) although unless your engines rodgered it should take a fair while to fill up.
  2. Catch tank looks awesome now. I think id be mounting it on the bulkhead + should be easier and neater to route the hoses.
  3. Cheers pal! i can see how this gets addictive haha
  4. Small update! got the lip of the rear arch in primer today. it wasn't really rotten so all i did was grind down the surface rust and treat with rust converter, I think that should hold it back for a couple of years or so as it was only slightley pitted. Also seam sealed where the inner and outer arch meet so no more water can get between. Im hoping to have this side finished and in 2k primer in the next week or so. I have now officially joined the carbon wrap gang i wrapped the surround in my mb6 cluster and im chuffed, I also fitted an alarm led in the bottom corner for when i come to fit an aftermarket one. I think it looks much better than a hole in the dash.
  5. Will look great if it goes as well as your bonnet grill!
  6. Funds are tight at the min so im gonna leave it on the 30mm springs for the time being until i see a good used set at the right price.

    Gear knob

i have done this before, Makes it more exciting looking for the car when you can see a mountain of parts you have already bought.
  10. Cant see it being too difficult providing the bottom of the bumper is some where near the same size.

    Hhhm???

I'd agree with the above them plates at the back of the disk are a nuisance. I had what sounds like a similar problem and it was them, just cut them off.
  12. i thought it might be. but here it is again if so . Maybe it should be made sticky
  13. im running 16x7 et 44 and they fill the arches nicely although rub on the inner arch a little on full lock.
  14. Not sure if there is one already on here. But here it is After hours of looking for new wheels i found this. I think you may find it useful too. 15. There abit big bud was maybe looking 195 15s ??
  16. Im looking into a wheel change im currently running the s40 bbs 16's but i fancy a change. After looking on ebay etc there isnt many ones i like 4x114 and i dont really wanna go down the adapter route. So what do you suggest without spending major moneys? heres the car.
  17. thanks for replying nick, ill start soaking the 02 sensor in wd40 then by the time my gaskets come it should be ok think i might order some studs just for peace of mind just in case! As said above iv'e not had a stud snap on me. the worst iv'e had happen is the whole stud coming out with the nut still on. But yeh ,soak them and the lambda sensor and pull on it quick/snap with the spanner once seated correctly. pulling slowley when not seated properly it will soon round. so id advise wire brushing too.
  18. Not much of an update due to the weather being turd but i went to u-pull-it in york the other day for some parts for my dads new v40 and had a look over at the honda section and got these out of an mb6 due to my fuel light not working. Ill be soon to join the carbon film gang as im gonna take them apart and do the part around the dials. By any chance does any one know of a way id be able to set the milage to my car? there 20k more. It's not a biggie but it would be nice.
  19. Yeh id agree with the above although a 156 selespeed one would look cool if it could be adapted to fit.
  20. will do like i say could be a few weeks yet.
  21. Yeh they sound good. Think im gonna start on the plug for the gurney flap sometime this week and maybe the mould for the grill surround like you say. So ill post up pics of progress.
  22. On the later rovers/mg they are like a bubble shape, I am not sure if them ones fit but shouldnt imagine much work would be involved to make them fit. The earlier 400's have near enough identical looking side repeaters to the M but smoked/clear. All that is required to make these fit is a small pip has to be filed off on the back.
