    My brother pulled the centre section heat shield off a while ago as it was rattling so that should be one less job! I've asked for my brothers help on a two post ramp so hopefully won't have to do it on the floor! Cheers for the info dude!

    I found when we fitted the coilovers I had to use the new nuts as the OEM ones were a different size.

    It's habit for me too but there's always the off occasion when I don't do it.

    I had an X-Trail a couple of years back reversed up to the garage door with a whacking great tow bar on it and accidentally left it in reverse and turned the key without the clutch dipped (normally dip it when starting but didn't that time) and BANG

    I know that feeling, cancel that then! Bad enough I've spotted a small area of fabric sagging on the headlining I put in earlier this year! Might use it as an excuse to have it retrimmed or change the colour to match the leather!

    Probably was Jake, I'm just saying this is one way to find/rule it out and luckily it seems to be that at fault. Cool! Just wanted to be sure the pattern ones are okay as genuine ones are expensive to put it lightly!

    Hmmm you might have to drop the front part of the headlining to get a look? Or remove the glass?

    Yeah it's worth a try dude! Went I took it out to test I ended up out on a short random drive stretching her legs, felt good! Progression through the revs was much smoother than I've been used to! Also adjusted my headlight aim up some so will see this evening if they are right or need to go up anymore!
