  1. I need to get used to the VTEC again, kill two birds with one stone!
  2. Bit later than I said but congratulations to @MikeFoto!
  3. I'm hoping a few miles of use will help
  4. We did three laps of the car! Each corner the first time round until no more bubbles came out. Did the second lap for good measure and more came out. Did the third lap to be sure but just fluid came out. Still soft but feels better. Going to use the car for a couple of days and do it again to check for more air. New nipples definitely seem to have helped I would say.

Be great if the M remains in the club or at least with some other detailing nutter!
  6. Well new nipples arrived, just been and swapped them. Now to wait for my old man to get home so we can eat and then go bleed it again. I did notice the new nipples were different sizes front to back, new rears felt like a better fit than what I took off and I have only tightened them by hand until it stopped then nudged it a bit with the brake spanner. Should be sweet, fingers crossed anyway! Will report back once we've bled it!
  7. Hopefully if/when I boost mine the mods so far will help it keep the handling in check and it'll be a right old weapon!
  8. I've only used the iBone to take pictures of mine so far!
  9. Yeah, had a Leon Cupra R which was pretty good, low down torque for town driving then decent boost on the beans. Saab was the same but the size of a narrow boat! Both times wished they had revved higher like a Honda!
  10. Yeah it can be a tricky one! Mine tend to be when the suns really doing its thing!
  11. I do miss having a turbo! Never had a supercharger though! I'll settle for either
  12. The jist from what I could make out is a2 head on C4 bottom end lowers compression, swap C4 pistons for a2 pistons to raise it. Not sure what end result over standard C4 would be. I think boost is the easier option for our cars! So leaning this way with my future plans!
  13. Best place to stand in all! Pictures also make them look loads better, well mine anyway!
  14. My VTi-S is my first black car, usually avoided because they show up any scratches or spots you miss when cleaning and draw heat when the sun is out. Seeing her cleaned properly is a massive pro over the cons though!
  15. Just done some 'light' reading... http://www.civiclife.net/board/topic/50725-b18c4-with-b16-cams/ http://hondaperformanceparts.co.uk/category/catalogue/engine/cams-valvetrain/camshafts/b-series-camshafts http://civic5.com/forum/index.php/topic/4849-b16a2-head-on-b18c4-block/ First reply to this post seems to be promising! "Kozy" seems to have some good knowledge. http://www.civiclife.net/board/topic/106931-b16a-jdm-head-on-a-b18c4-with-throttle-bodies/
  16. That was my point about saving towards them instead. It's like if you spend £100 on springs then whatever to have them fitted if being done by a garage, it's all money that could have gone towards what you really want instead.
  17. Be rude not to have a hot version really! Sleeper wagon for the win!
  18. Yep we have! Yeah but if you're putting on the a2 head, that will need the a2 inlet won't it? Or are you swapping the gubbins and not the actual head itself?
  19. Needs a K20 and a supercharger!
  20. My Leon Cupra R visited the dealer I bought it off many times in the year I had it, I think they regretted selling it with warranty to be honest! Approved used my arse!
  21. I thought they all had the same sized inlets apart from the C1 and C4 which are taller? Yeah agree on going for the full C6 or C swap, though the money involved could see more power from boosted conversion too! Definitely a few options with varying outcomes!
  22. Ah right, I think I was asking about the C6 head at the time. No idea about the a2 head other than you'll probably want to use the inlet manifold as well I would guess?
