  1. It's all good, it ended up the right way up in the end! The bar isn't very old either, Nav had bought it brand new!
  2. I told my brother it was upside down at the time, he thought he knew better, then couldn't get the other side to mate with the bolt holes in the chassis leg so flipped it over and suprise suprise it went straight on!
  3. I was watching the Arny classic "True lies" last night and spotted this gem!
  4. Haha not just yet! I'm fixing before I go spending loads on mods! Yes that is exactly it! Though I wouldn't want to see the Civic break in two like the ship did as it sank! Anyway, couple of bits done last night, new backbox fitted and the MGZS ARB went on too! This was my old blocked backbox! The MG ARB New vs Old rattly backboxes ARB going on All done! I reckon I may have a blocked fuel filter though, I was driving the car to put strain on it, 5th gear at 20ish mph and full throttle and she was coughing and spluttering then would die, I lifted off while still in gear and let her coast then she'd bump back into life. So planning a big service to elimate the basics!
  5. I reckon I might know which one you mean, but I'll keep quiet for two reasons, I could be wrong or I could be right but it might be a secret you don't want mentioning!
  6. Looks smart mate! I reckon if you get the chrome grill surrounds painted they'll match the new wheel colour nicely!
  7. I went to see it or its been posted in here before?
  8. I know what you mean, sometimes you can get a decent gain from an OEM part off another car! Airbox will fit the OEM intake pipe if you have it mate!
  9. I know what you mean! Might help to pull down the rubber door seal that runs along it too, again it just pulls off, no hassle for a change!
  10. Haha you'd think that wouldn't you!? I'd be getting stuck in more if I owned a ramp and sheltered space I must admit! New backbox for £25, get in! Should be going on tonight along with the MG ARB as long as my bro's gaff doesn't suddenly fill up with cars, that's happened a few times before!
  11. Same here, aging seems to be helping my cause too! They are most excellent aren't they!
  12. Just pulls off mate, start at the top and work your way down! My A pillar trims are currently in the boot along with the sunvisors and MG ARB
  13. How come? Is your postcode an area that's always on fire or something?
  14. Was easier than that, he text me this morning to say he's got me a back box and he'll let me know when to go up this evening, asked about the ARB in my reply and he said he'd do it at the same time while it's on a ramp, sorted!
  15. Hopefully you'll still be able to get it done, you might have to get the suspension on and save up for the arch work before fitting the wheels. What's your username on photobucket? I'll see if I can get on to get your photo into the thread!
  16. Fair enough mate! Large items can be a pain to get sent around at times!
