Do you think the reset has made a difference?

I had a similar symptoms with my EK4, couldn't engage gears without matching the revs and when at a standstill in gear with the clutch pressed it was as if I kept lifting and dropping it causing the car to jolt forwards. Turned out a clamp was broke causing the shaft to move about and randomly engage gears etc, a complete clutch pack sorted it though.

Hmmmm interesting, I never thought about that, when I do get round to sorting my suspension properly (coilovers) I'll have to get the tracking looked at and see if the camber is out or not but when I had my EK4 it was miles out after lowering, I guess the double w/b will hold it where it is but not correct it if that makes sense?

when you change the gaitor, the plastic bit around the gear stick can be removed it is held in by 2 metal clips, you pull on it from closest to the centre console, i used some knives on the sides to pry it out its pretty easy and just take your time Cheers dude! Was hoping it wasn't going to be a ballache! I do like what you've done so far though! I was going to use the same idea as you for gaitor and knob, just confirms how it'll look, want a short shifter too though nah its not hard at all the only bad thing is the original leather gaitor is stapled in very tightly! thanks, yeh ive been hearing good tings about short shifters, what do they actually do? They shorten the throw of the gear stick, the idea being you don't have as much travel between gears and should be able to quicken your gear changes I want to change my shift stabiliser bushes at the same time too, don't want much do I? They will make the changes smoother and feel really good, I've changed those bushes on the last few cars I've had ah i see are they easy to install? it sounds pretty good to me, will definitely look into it more thanks! I haven't done it myself but I am pretty sure they're easy enough!

I tell you what, a lot of the characteristics are the same, I love it! You'll notice with the LSD that the front tucks in better into the corners! Though in standard form she does roll a fair bit but because at the time I went from an X-Trail to the MB6 it took me a while to notice! 2nd gear is a bitch, find yourself about 500rpm out of VTEC when giving it beans but I have a plan for that instead of a VTEC controller or replacing the gearbox but that's long term stuff! The MB is still quite light and still upsets the bigger cars like the EK, engine note is the same! Love it! No worries about the stickers, I was bored! To be honest though I haven't ordered anymore even though I had planned to, I think I'm out of that phase First thing I did was visit a mate who does detailing and then my mates at a bodyshop, a good amount would come out with a lot of effort but parts are down to primer so sadly she does need paining, luckily though I've got a bit of touch up paint so I went over it the other week, going to go over again this weekend, just wish I had the money to sort it out but I guess waiting is good too! She'll look awesome once she's sorted

Been there and done that having owned a turbo and came back to a VTEC, I'll say no more!

When you changed the gearstick gaitor can you just unclip the surround somewhere or does the whole centre console have to be moved?

I've got Avon ZV5 all round on the standard wheels, really good grip! Very confident tyre in the dry and pretty good in the wet too!

I may have found a solution! Found on the bay the airbag reel that lines up with the wheel I've got! Will know in a few days when it turns up and I'll update once I've had chance to fettle with it!

Right guys, I got myself an ATR momo steering wheel with the airbag, decent price too! Problem is when I went to fit, the backplate with the holes for the SRS and steering shaft splines didn't line up! Here is a picture of the backplate and the SRS reel in it's central position to show the problem! Now I really would prefer not to run without an airbag because it would just be hassle come MOT time! Not to mention the potential safety implications in the event of an accident! Ideas?

Took a visit to DynoDaze Wednesday evening and couldn't help but stick her on the rollers! Couple of photo's and three videos, calibration run, power run looking at the car and second power run looking at the monitor! Two of the pictures were pinched from the DynoDaze facebook page! Enjoy! Becca got more attention than I was expecting when I pulled up! Really happy to see people interested! She made 166bhp which I'm not disappointed about, I am using regular 95RON fuel and there's only the filter and Cat-back exhaust on her, was recommended to run her on Vpower for a power gain but I have some engine mods planned for the future too!

Yeah I would try and match all four if I were you mate! With the fronts being different to the rear the cars handling could be unpredicable!

1993 Nearly 20 years old now Really? Christ I still think the 90's was like 5 minutes ago! On topic: Yes there is a transponder in the key, not sure how much to get a new one programmed, worth asking a locksmiths! Before you go buying any new blank keys!
