  1. You will have to do as you say because our cars dont come with the wires in the loom if you have not got fogs fitted already.. As you are going to create a new circuit for them with fuse and relay etc you could youtube a how to as it will be the same for any car.. And if Roj is correct and you can get a harness and connect it im not sure where it connects or how or where you would run it through... Have heard much talk of this subject but as of yet i personally do not know of any members who have fitted the fogs when they were not present originally, will or would be nice to finally get a definitive answer to this question. Hopefully somebody will clear this subject up soon
  2. Some more nice little touches mate, looking so sorted under the bonnet now, bet your well proud to show friends and stuff, i never lift my bonnet in public as it is pretty untidy under both..
  3. Not a bad price once you have added the vat on (All prices quoted exclude VAT at the current rate) so that will be what £180.00
  4. sounds very promising, fingers crossed you may have just found your fault mate...
  5. Thats what it looks like mate. If your standard immobiliser was working as it should before (i.e blinking then staying off) now nothing, The blink is the check code saying all present and correct no blink, no start...As mentioned above to bypass the oem immobiliser involves tampering with the brain so they must have added a second system themselfes prob to add the blue light.. Note check the service manual (available in downloads section) I just been looking at it it tells you where all the components are and the fuses are the ones located under the bonnet, not in the fuse box under steering column.. Starts at Section 23-G-3 Section 23-G-7 has full wiring diagram
  6. you think the immobiliser is stopping it, does the green key continue to flash on the dash..If it goes out like normal then the immobiliser sounds to be working correct
  7. LOL never even noticed when i was typing that...
  8. Yup!!! All normal here guv.. Except there has been a black and white tom cat sitting on our window ledge staring in all day because we have female cats in the house that have not been done, i think he may be some sort of sexual predator, i may have to ask tom if he knows him???
  9. Hope so or i might suggest your an insomniac LOL
  10. Im still laughing out loud... LOTS typing this. like a madman sitting on his own
  11. WOW are you a circus family ??? NO NO NO i will stop right here.. No more For now at least...
  12. New mot result..Shame about losing the locking nuts. Have you asked anybody else in the house to check in case its been put up on top of a cupboard or somewhere you can not reach PMSL!!! Im so bad laughing at my own piss takes before i post them, thats a sign of a bad comedian i would say
  13. I rest my case your honour !!!!!
  14. Im stunned at your run of bad luck, i have never really bought a trouble car yet had a few go wrong not long after buying but silly things like clutch or brakes or battery never these sort of gremlins. I mean FFS the bearing in the gearbox of our MB3 sounds awfull and has been knackered for 28,000 odd miles now yes i do mean 28,000 and since it started most would guess it would not last more than a month or so where as thats nearly a year and a half now LOL And im not at all conscious of it or worrried about it.. Sorry i love to talk LOL back to you.. can you not get the correct length spark plug socket from your brother so you can eliminate ignition if she won't start at least you can check for a spark with a plug out
  15. Man it depends on where she spent most of her life. Bumpy roads and curbs and speed humps in towns compared to country roads for instance for many years would make the whole chasis feel more worn (steering response, overall ride and roll) i know mine is like a clowns car for handling, she was not as bad when i got her but i guess she was a town car and my style of driving has really knackered things now LOL.. Our MB6 on the other hand feels tight as a button
  16. No from the sounds of it its you thats doing the approaching
  17. LOL it would appear that i have made it my sole mission to hastle just you about this subject PMSL!!!! and i never intended to either LOL.. The japfest meet will be excellent as i never been to a civic5 meet with as many members attending either.. New faces and new cars to oggle at LOVELY...
