EmZvr: Your last comment about replacing whole head unless your rebuilding mad me happy as my plans are to have the bottom end rebuilt then replace head with the same as mentioned in this thread..

    i think that as mentioned before one of those smoke machines to find where its leaking or you could just lock me in there for an hour should have the same affect...

    i have similar sypmtoms and agree with Jake (even though she passed her mot like it a couple or three weeks back) there may be very little or no visable movement when checking balljoints sometimes but they may still be knackered..Example i know my c.v joint is knackered as i can hear it is but it has no movement in the wheel so appears to be fine and passed its mot LOL

    LOL i parked mine like that while i was at my mates at dorset because it was bucketing down and the same happened to me my spare wheel aperture is wet but but the windscreen and headlining were very lightly damp

    Project MB3... Essentials.. Brakes All round (think i have decided already what route im going) Suspention (as it was an advisory on mot) Just Because..... Interior (got some ideas running around my head) Finish exterior bits and pieces to tidy her up some more Make or begin final plans for the Engine Rebuild (i know what route i want to go) Project MB6... Just going with the flow and seeing what goodies 2014 end up bringing her as i did with the other M... Obviously wll be doing the obligatory stuff like Side repeaters Head Lights Rear Lights De-Tango And what else i don't even know yet but i will find out when i decide to do stuff

    No the entrance toms speaks of is the tradesmens entrance and my friend lives at the other end of the track on the acreage of land that stretches for bloody miles and miles..

    i enter the land on the other side of the track not that side but its all done, was for the lorries to get in out to the grain depot easier

    I will be upgrading soon but she came with upgraded speakers from the previous owner and i have added vti tweeters already and replaced the rears (that were standard) with a set of 6X9's in the shelf so it all sounds good at the mo
