    Bought the set at Ebay for £ 24,00. And head smacking was one of the main reasons to get a new pair...!!!

    Btw...bought and installed a new pair of tailgate stay assemblies. The old ones didn't work anymore. Small but important update because the rear hatch would not stay open.

    Undersealing + rust removal and powder coating of all chassis parts is on my list.

    The car was parked on grass for about 1 year before i bought it...that's why some parts under the car have been in a very poor condition. I have already changed some breaking + fuel line pieces because of that...and now the fuel tank.

    Definitely a great looking Aerodeck...!!! Makes me want to get the stanced look even more...my main problem: we have skyscraper high speed bumps in my hometown.

    Finally i have swapped my ugly, rusty, totally fxxxed up old fuel tank against the new one that was stored in my garage. There was no more time left for the swap...the old tank was loosing fuel everywhere...!!! Monday after work with a little help of a friend of mine the operation started...car on jacks...me lying under the car most of the time. Took around 2 hours until the new tank was installed. Finally an important point on my ToDo list is finished and i can drive around with a full tank again...!!! Haven't seen this for a while:

    Some quick fitment testing today...7x15 ET30 fits perfect without bodywork: Looking so nice even without tires...!!! Can't wait...can't wait...can't wait...!!!

    Yes, i can't wait...that's why i'm killing time with photoshopping I have the wheels now, but i need to save some extra cash for the high gloss polishing. Cheapest price i found is around £ 330,00...!!!

    I think the perfect look comes with Honda caps instead of the original Exip caps: Not too bad i think...???

    I bought some oldschool mesh wheels EXIP 7x15 last weekend: Need to get them full polished now...this will be the look i'm searching for:

    I will change the oil and try a different brand...maybe there will be a difference.

    Every 10-15.000 km's + i'm not driving high rpm's often...only when needed for acceleration. Most of the time i'm driving very relaxed (3500 - 4000 rpm max).

    I'm using Liqui Moly 10W-40 and never had problems with it. The noise started at 200.000 km. The car now has 215.000 km's.

    Thx @ all...i need to get the tank fitted next month - so i can move on with the next things that need to be done...!!! Next important point in my ToDo list: remove rust from all chassis / suspension parts and paint or powder coat everything. My biggest goal for 2014 would be to get a new paintjob for the car and a replacement engine...!!! My current engine doesn't sound like it's going to live forever...knocking valves even after 2 times of valve adjustment...??? Otherwise the engine runs great...does not need much fuel and oil...good acceleration. Weird...any ideas...???

    Long time no see My slomo project actually is more like a time-laps project...!!! I had so much other things to do and no time for my Aerodeck. Ok...but family comes first. I'm still driving around with the rusty hole in my fuel tank...it works as long as i'm not filling up the tank more than 50 %. The "new" tank is waiting to be installed...all rust removed and painted with rust protection color. Still more than enough to do on my daily...!!! Hopefully i can get some more things done during the winter period.

    True words...i was thinking of building a blown D16Z6 but otherwise i have always been a n/a fan...!!! Plus it would be the first Aerodeck with a k-swap in germany (not 100% sure about it). My biggest worry: Conversion Harness / electronics...this is definitely something i will need help if plug & play doesn't work.
