  1. I've cheated, I'm just buying mine off someone!
  2. Vti lip and panda/detangoed lights will be on their way next week! Can't wait!
  3. Cheets. Don't want an orange bulb in a detangoed headlight!
  4. Are the front indicator bulbs the staggered pins? I can't be bothered going out in the rain to check... Cheers
  5. Front indicators, are they staggered pins? Need to get some coated ones ready for de-tango job.
  6. Cut the cat off Quick and simple solution. Just means I have to finish the system for an mot, as there is nowhere for a cat now!
  7. Well I've got the guy looking at postage, but I'm pretty much willing to do anything for it, as it'll make such a difference to the front end. Yeah it had the same catifold design, so it had to go, can't decide whether to keep the heatshield now. It is very ugly, and with the cat gone, its not as hot in there now... Have you left yours on?
  8. I just realised, I never mentioned that she got a decat job done at the start of the month, just a stainless pipe welded on to the original head down to the centre section, in anticipation of a full system in the near future, hopefully!
  9. All going well I should also obtain a black vti lip soon, finally!
  10. Whats the rule on sidelight colours? Want to get red or green led sides, so when the dips on it looks like mean little eyes mixed with the yellow, but don't want to get pulled...
  11. Is there a 'how to' guide on the clock bulb change? Think I'd make a *rse of it without a walkthrough!
  12. I really need to put a bulb in my clock, but I just use my headunit for the time to save the hassle!
  13. Insurance is robbery. I have to pay 180 a month for my mb3. 2 months is what I paid for the car!
  14. Krzys, I love that you're hanging in there! Keep at it mate, she'll soon be perfect...
  15. There's some APEX springs on ebay for our M's for nearly 120 quid mate
  16. When I suggested getting HIDs for mine, I was told about the washers, but different people say different things. I'd maybe fit the bumper without washers connected, just in case. Maybe connect the washers up if you have the time. If you use the same MOT tester all the time, ask what they'll pass.
  17. They'll fail an MOT, but I think thats it. I have been flashed twice, but I turned my lights down a notch, and have had none since.
  18. Jake you'll be ok doing that as you've got the headlight washers. To be fair, if I could have gone HID, I would have, but having to install the washer jets is just too much for me to bother with right now!
  19. Yeah, like its daytime. Except very yellow daytime!
  20. Maz if I remember rightly, you need headlight washers to pass HID's in an MOT so I'd be more inclined to recommend just getting more powerful bulbs, and swapping them over come MOT time.
  21. They are 90/100w Super Yellows from Kode Performance. Only cost me 15 quid I think. But I think with the general poor quality of H4 bulbs, 90/100w is the only way we will ever see in the dark!
  22. I'm bringing a bat with me on my first meet... To show I like it rough..
