  1. Wow... Took an age to claybar my 15 years worth of grot deck a couple of days ago!! Came out lovely though!! Its a shame i live at top of a hill and get very misty/foggy so vapour was setting on my car whilst i was buffing my wax coat but got a couple pics today after a top up wash! Should really get onto sorting those bumper holes out too!!! Lol What do we think lads? Two bucket autoglym wash, squegee and buff, claybar (for 3 hours!! Is it meant to take that long??) then autoglym wax and then final buff? Any tips if ive done it the wrong way around lool?
  2. If your friendly with a local garage its always worth a try to ask if you can use their headlight aim kit for a few minutes if you do it yourself? Im lucky we do mots at my work so i just bring my car in on my lunch to check mine lol!!
  3. Washer hoses can be stiff when not removed before, just get a little flathead screwdriver and put in the gap between jet (or connector) and the hose and twist... Couple of little goes on that n should pop off mate... When pulling hose off twist back n forth aswell as pull, will free it up quicker

  5. Shame about the air con pulley but least gives you the opportunity to chuck the air con out if you want!

  10. Ahh ok fair enough... Ok lads, been on MTEC website (EBC website done my head in, badly set up so binned the idea of EBC's lol) ive found these bad boys! Are these correct for my car, i presume mb6 is the same as mc2 as cant find mc2 discs...
  11. I know how you feel, mine was a right pain with my sub leads poking out the back aswell!!
  12. Need some advice on disc options if possible please lads! I think the grotty discs are whats causing my brake squeel so if im going to change them may aswell get a decent set! These two from MTEC differ in price but would the MG ZS ones fit??

  14. Its wierd, on yours i prefur the colour coded Vti lip but on mine i prefur my colour coded Vti-S lip!! Personal preferance at the end of the day, either of them still looks the nuts so have a play!!

  16. Some good plans there mate! And with some kit readily available for it I imagine the modding will progress pretty sharpish! Wack up some photos mate!! Would be interested to see pics of other family members cars too!!
  17. She looks good mate, despite the few little niggly bits! Clutch should be relatively straight forward too! Good chance to have a little inspection of flywheel and release fork as stated!! Excited about future updates and PHOTOOOSS!!!

  19. I would agree with nick on this one! Might be worth new control / trailing arms!! Just to save anymore messing about and wasted time! As i can imagine this problem must be doing your head in! Lol
  20. Bled the clutch not too long ago but as you say probs a good idea to change box oil anyway...
