    Apparently the MG/Rover boys have the same problems too. I think I'll get Astra rings and just glue the top part as a temporary measure until I get a drill.

    I don't have a drill remember. And after what Kyfer said I don't fancy borrowing someone else's just to break their drill bits. Would superglue hold those Astra rings on?

    It looks great at night. I'll be getting Pioneer speakers before Japfest, 6.5" too. I was in Blackpool this weekend so I got the MB6 washed. She looks great when she's wet.

    Maybe the car previously had one of those flip out DVD headunits. I hear they're supposed to know when you're in neutral with the handbrake up, so maybe it's that?

    Gave the MB3 the MB6's old headunit. Nothing fancy but it's better than the cassette player that didn't even match the interior lighting.

    Thanks! The MB6 has component speakers with tweeters, whereas the MB3 has normal speakers. I think the rears are the same so if anything I'd just be swapping fronts and then trying to source some tweeter grills to put the tweeters in. I'll probably buy a larger capacity USB for the car at some point. For now I just love the novelty of a USBeetle.

    Yeah can't wait until my audio setup is done at yours man. It's going to sound great after. Yeah I think the standard speakers can take a fair bit of abuse. I might even put them in the MB3 afterwards. 2GB. Enough for what I'm using it for. Mine is set to "SUPER BASS".

    Look what I collected today. Aaaand it's already in the car. Set the display colour to a similar orange to the gauges. Should look amazing at night. And yes that's a USBeetle. And a short video. How can a headunit alone produce this much bass?!

    Hopefully the convoy from Wickes will be nice and calm for you then. If I can get 25mpg in London I can still reach yours with a single tank.

    I was just going with the flow of traffic, so I was usually somewhere between 70-80. The lorry trick is great, it just gets boring on the motorway.

    The Civic*Scene decal I had was a lot thicker and actually covered up a stone chip on my windscreen whilst it was attached. It's not in their store though, mine was included with my hoodie purchase. Maybe send them a message? Unfortunately half the sticker tore off on the M6.

    24 hour clock engaged! Going to have to do this to the MB3 too. Also went to Leeds today and decided to take it easy the whole time to see how long a full tank would last. Did I do alright? I have to admit I did hit VTEC a few times as there were a few tunnels on the way.
