  1. +1 on the above. You'd be regretting the swap the moment you realise you now have a 1.6 BMW.
  2. Yeah I've still got loads to do myself. My poor MB3 is getting a bit shafted at the moment while the MB6 hogs all the modding money.
  3. I even marked it on my calendar and everything. Thanks! It'll definitely be nice, as right now my MB6 is quieter than my MB3.
  4. Oh yes. After exhaust it'll be headlights and audio, all in time for Japfest!
  5. Cheers guys. My MB6 is now booked for a Powerflow cat-back exhaust in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!
  6. There's also those cheap eBay ones that twist and/or snap when you're trying to put on/take off your wheel.
  7. Went out for a drive to celebrate my successful dechroming. Ended up finding where all the boy racers do mad skidzz. Maybe I'll stake the place out one night and see if anything decent shows up. Oh and of course I took a couple of nice pictures to show off the lack of chrome.
  8. Ever since I put on the mesh grill, I've been annoyed by seeing the red grill brace behind the mesh. Since the weather is nice and I'm still in a painting mood I decided to rectify that. # Now, someone please take this paint away from me before I actually do more harm than good.
  9. Ah, thanks! I'll give it a week before doing that, don't want to ruin something I've actually succeeded at for once.
  10. And my MB6 is officially dechromed! Getting it to this stage took longer than I wanted it to. I had rounded off screws and washers that wouldn't come out. Unfortunately had to remove them by force but the MB3 generously replaced the broken items. Already in touch with a breaker who will replace the ones I took off the MB3. After a whole day of priming and painting, this was the result on Saturday night. And refitted this morning.
  11. Thanks. Yours was the first one I saw with the sticker there.
  12. Good news everyone! I didn't royally screw it up! I only screwed up a little! A bit of dust settled on the clearcoat as it was drying so the finish isn't perfect, but because it's black you'll never notice it anyway so I'm happy with the result. I'll get pictures up when it's on the car tomorrow. Going to leave it to dry now in a safe place so no dust will get to it overnight.
  13. Decided to paint my rear trim black tonight. Provided I don't royally screw it up I should have a dechromed MB6 tomorrow! Then I need to sort the headlights out...

It's right at the expensive side of your budget but I strongly suggest this: http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/pioneer-dehx5600bt-cd-mp3-player-bluetooth-mixtrax-ipod-iphone-android-usb-stereo-p-59900.html#.UtLaw7SmUrk
  15. Does it have number plates on it? Put them through a plate checker site if it does.
  16. Ah! Well your handywork is appreciated. Almost forgot I wasn't in the EU7. Better make a habit of not getting close to kerbs in car parks now.
  17. I think we need to ask Dave to get some Civic5 slippers up on the store.
  18. That's exactly how it went for me. Except the 18 months bit, I've only been here since November.
  19. I feel like doing something different to what I did on the MB6 though and my front end does look pretty bare at the moment.
  20. Reckon the sticker is made to be put there? It's such a perfect size.
  21. I have a spare Civic5.com sticker that I want to put on the MB3. I want to put it on the front end somewhere (because the rear has been hogging all the fun so far ), so feel free to suggest placements.
  22. Took inspiration from ammarbm's MB2 for my Civic5 sticker placement. But for the other side I decided to use the "I Heart My MB" sticker instead. And a couple of photos because why not? The spare Civic5 sticker will be going on the MB3 by the way.
  23. Looks great! Should see some extra ponies too from what I've heard about DC2 airboxes. Have you got a cold air feed to the airbox? I'm after the same setup but I have no idea what to do regarding the cold air feed.
