Originally I was going to put twin exhausts (OO style) on the MB6 but after seeing it on another MB I wasn't so keen anymore.

I bought a Turborevs exhaust off Shafz a few months back with the intention of putting it on the MB3. Recently I found out it looks really good under a VTiS rear lip, so I decided to put it on the MB6 instead. Today I'll be heading off to Powerflow to get it fitted along with a 2.5" center pipe and a center silencer. Also here's some night shots with my new headlights. I swear they're brighter now.

Thanks! It's hard to find a picture of the MB3 that compliments it.

Alloy Wheel Pictures/Sizes/Fitment Information

Yay! -
Number 3 is the same as sidelight/number plate bulbs. So if you have spares from upgrading the exterior, keep 'em handy.

I'll see how it goes without rolling then. -
Shame they don't share wheel fitments. Might have to spray the MB3's ADR's in gunmetal to match.

What does everyone think about these wheels? Lenso Samurai Spec C, 17x7J. They'll be wrapped in Uniroyal Rainsport 2 tyres in 205/40 size.

Ah, so I should be able to get away without rolling? -

Did it rub under normal driving or just when you had a boot full of stuff? I'm aiming to get 17x7J's on 205/40 with pretty much the same ride height as you. ADR Racing Phase 1, 205/45/R16 tyres. Stock suspension. -
I think mine are a darker black? That's all I can think of when comparing our cars. I think I'm just going to fly-eyes the MB3. After today I don't want to change another set of headlights ever again.

A few hours later... Bumper wasn't fully on yet, but I couldn't resist snapping a picture. Also note the dead bird on the grass to the left. That was under my radiator. Yes. Like a whole new car! I like a bit of amber so I used some amber indicators bulbs instead of getting silver ones. It didn't look like this a month ago when I bought it. Total facelift! Parked the MB6 on the road whilst I swept the driveway (turns out there's lots of stones and loose screws (???) behind the bumpers. Took the chance to take some pictures with the MB3. My old headlights were really fogged up so I'm happy to have clear headlights finally. Also with the resonator removed, I've noticed the induction roar is clearer and also there's a bit of classic B-series noise when the IAB's open up.

In a few hours. Also I'll be ripping the resonator out whilst the bumper is off. Get some more intake growl for free.

Wing looks good! Have you considered plastidipping the alloys you have now? It would look amazing and then you won't feel the need to replace them so soon.

"May I take a moment of your time to talk to you about single cam engines?" Loving the build mate. It's the little things that sets these cars apart from each other.

Roj's Mean Green No Fire Trucks Given Machineâ„¢ (Rust In Pieces)
Roj replied to Roj's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
The eco mode deactivates at 2500rpm (3500rpm in 5th) and then at roughly 4500rpm you get the regular VTEC (like say an MB4 would have). That's the awesome sound you're hearing. For whatever reason Wikipedia says VTEC-E, which is wrong. The same goes for the D15Z6, which is just the EK3's version of our motor. -

I think having 3-stage VTEC is already cool enough for our 3's. -

Yeah it sounds really angry for no reason now. Also the crossover is way more audible! -

Your stickers have been coming in handy throughout this project Shafz. And yeah for the next 8 days my MB3 will sound better than my MB6. And I've been focusing on the MB6 for the past month! -

The MB3 got a present today. Can you guess what it is? So a while ago I bought a Gruppe M replica intake pipe off a mate. Over the past few weeks I've added a cone, silicone bits and a Fearless.. sticker from Shafz. Today it was complete so I shoved it in the MB3. Peekaboo! It was originally in my mate's EK4 so I figured it'd fit in the MB3. Well it kinda did! It's resting on the coolant bottle a bit but that's actually positioned it in such a way where it gets plenty of air from the gap between my headlights and the bonnet. And no induction kit is complete without a bodge of some kind, so here's an elastic band keeping my intake secure. I've already taken it out for a drive and holy crap it sounds good now. Almost like a B-series. -
So the 9SMD LED fog light bulbs arrived today and I put them in my fog lights. Immediately regretted it as they're nowhere near as bright as the old halogen bulbs. Probably should've seen that coming to be honest. Anyway I'm now in a bit of a dilemma as I really want to replace the creamy-white old bulbs with something that's either "JDM" yellow, pure white or Xenon blue, whilst being bright enough to light up the A590 at 10pm. Can anyone recommend bulbs that will fit?

Just won some black headlights off eBay for £46 posted! Once they arrive I'm installing them and while the bumper is off I'm removing the resonator too.
