fyfie5
if its reading nothing i guess hte leak is low down, maybe put a litre of cheap oil in (so as not to waste descent stuff) it might be sump plug still and with some fluid in you may see it leaking ??? I might just give that a go tomorrow as I think it may the sump plug even though its tightened up good (could be warped)
DAVEMB2
Arrr no not oil if its leaking with the engine off and just sitting it must be somewhere low down

fyfie5
That sucks. That would be my guess from what you've said. what do you guys mean by sump guard gasket?
NIKH25
The gasket that seals the sump to the bottom of the engine.
snakey135
Need to get it in the air and have a good ol inspection with a light!!As dave said, if it leaked whilst not running then its likely to be a faulty gasket or sump plug seal down low. vtec2011
Oh no! It could possibly also be the crankshaft seal as they are prone to leak. It's usually a small amount (mine leaks a bit but nothing serious) Good luck fixing her
jamestopdog
Least you didnt run it when it had no oil in it buddy. Hope its a easy fix like a sump plug or something. Good excuse to swap it for. Magnetic one
