Grant
So no 'progress' as such.. But was in desperate need of a clean. Grubby English roads! But here's a close up of the wheels and exhaust. Wheels need to come off soon for lacquer to get a real shine to them though. And I'm sure most of you will have an affiliation with a shampoo brand, however, if your not quite sure, I use auto glym and personally think it's amazing. I still haven't had the weather for a clay, polish and wax, the surface of the bonnet/roof is like sand paper, but the auto glym still brigs her up in a lovely shine. NIKH25
Looking very smart, she's gonna be gleaming when you do a full detail. I use autoglym too, it is very good, my only gripe is it's not very sudsy, I'm going to give dodo juice born to be mild a go next.
Grant
Looks great! any ideas for what's next?So next 'mod' external wise, on the to do list is to de chrome and de badge the rear - weather depending obv. The strips at the bottoms of the windows need painting as they've corroded. Bump strips, skirts and roof bars are all going to get satin black treatment too. Calipers need a repaint. Performance wise, I'll line up my 4-1 mani and decat. See what clearance will be like. And still undecided on the skunk 2 inlet. Also need to paint and fit the catch can. And while under the bonnet, I've made enquiries about having my spare rocker dipped. That's all I'm saying on that for now And of course a proper wheels off detail. So still a healthy chunk of things to do before May! Looking very smart, she's gonna be gleaming when you do a full detail. I use autoglym too, it is very good, my only gripe is it's not very sudsy, I'm going to give dodo juice born to be mild a go next.Yeah it's not very, although, I bought a micro fibre MIT from halfrauds the other week and it's very very good. Let me know how the dodo stuff goes mate, I use their clay and wax and am pretty impressed with those products!
