Lights look cool mate.

Lowering meh rat last! Bet that's felt like a huge wait!

Grrrrr so angry!! Got up early drove 20 miles dropped the car off, mechanic rings me at 3.30pm, 'wont have time to do it today'

Why are mechanics so bloody unreliable? Ok hes cheap at £25 but I throw the bloke loads of work and ive had this booked up for two weeks, so annoying

Going to book it into garage now, probably cost £100 more but least it will get done and Ill get a loan car

Change of subject..anyone ever used a tuning box, revo remap £350 spoke to a bloke today with a 2008 golf tdi swears by his, only 20bhp increase but only £80

Gutted mate, should bring it over here and have Jonnyricer do them, cheap, super reliable and a top bloke too.

I also have a mate who's a vag specialist and has been talking about setting up on his own doing ecu tuning, I'm not sure what software he's going to use though. I'm sure another friend used a tuning box on his wife's 06 golf a couple of years back and was well chuffed with it.

Cheers nick goimg to investigate it, even if just til can get a proper remap, need some power to cheer me up driving around on this thing on stilts!

Had plans to have it lowered by now, wheels sprayed at weekend and lights tinted but lost interest now :(

I think it's probably worth doing, don't get much bhp but you should get a big slab of extra torque which will be noticeable. :)

Really frustrating on the lowering, if you do want me to put you in touch with Jon just send me a PM, he's in Battle with ramps and pro spring compressors etc. and works private jobs most weekday evenings. :)

Mate of mine bought a tuning box for his C30 D5 with the 20bhp claim, it made an extra 6bhp on the dyno...

I bought my dad a superchip plug and play thing for his 5.4 v8 ford f150 and the flipping difference that made was mental man, so much difference more power everywhere. Was worth it!
