I think I would prefer the kick! The key element is that nudge and note change to let you and those around what's coming!2 points

Morning! Day 7 ( missed 6 d**king about) As you may or may not have noticed the 3 main things that improve a deck have yet to happen, much of it is financial, paying near £700 for lower suspension, £400 for an exhaust system and the other thing, body kit? well they are all seemingly in the pipeline, the suspension alone is worth more than the car if I sold it, to me its worth a lot more as its my daily. Things will be done to get her proper, little tweaks that should bring the engine and the other important parts up to snuff, I think I had the idea that slamming on spoilers and new springs would somehow cure a problem that had nothing to do with the issues that existed. So now I save and tweak and save, going be a long road. Yesterday I was waiting outside the other halves work place, as usual she was running late so I am sat there listening to a bit of Classic FM covered in unspeakable juices, hat in situ and several days fuzz on the chin. A small group of teenagers walked past the Deck Mobile and then looked back, I am Mr Smug, thinking that the de chroming and all the other little things had attracted the kind of attention one seeks when making ones cars look mean and aggressive, one of them started towards the car, giddy with excitement at the proposition of receiving praise for my hard work his knuckle wrapped at the passenger window, gleefully I held down the passenger window switch, blasting the youth with Vivaldi, our eyes met, and he asked one of the most devastating questions I have ever been in receipt of: ' are you Shanes dad?' gutted...........I am in hiding.............2 points

I reckon at Japfest we'll set some sort of record for most Civic M's in one place where the owners (to my knowledge) don't require p1ss bags!2 points

We should rent a civic5 unit. Somewhere in the midlands. Then we can all use it Would be great to have somewhere other than the drive to work.2 points

Love the lights mate. I recently replaced both rear hubs on our eu8 civic because of horrendous bearing noise. Turns out the Avon tyres in good condition on the rear were responsible wasn't happy as forked out on hubs and lost a day at work to fit them. Couldn't believe tyres could make that noise2 points

I am absolutely loving it and I really like the silver finish. Can't wait to see the end results! That's if we have more weather like this... Not sure if I asked you this before, but what's it like to wash the plasti-dip?1 point

How about you accidentally bought some new suspension. "Sorry dear, fancy a McDonalds?"1 point

I paid £110 for mine just over 2 years ago, so they've gone up a bit. I'm a bit confused though as that's a pair for a Supra which you would think would be more expensive. See what Jake can come up with and give him a shout if there's no joy there. Here's the original thread by the way: http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/774-fully-recondictioned-rear-calipers-for-a-mb6/1 point

Have a look round at what others have fitted or find one you like and ask then but usual rules if it fits dc2 or eg then it should fit, EK may require a bit of adjustment to fit.1 point

That's it, people seem to have a mind set of upgrading parts without first dealing with the maintenance issues, no point in lowering your car say if you have two bold tires, it won't handle any better with the same level of grip, or lack of!1 point

If you win the lottery just get the conversion done to yours and the wenches M!1 point

Common issue with most Hondas! Pop the light unit out dry them out and reseal Around the edges of them with RTV silicone and let them dry. You can even go extra and heat them cut the old sealant out clean with spirits and then reseal again1 point

I think it's going to be a case of trying to roll the front arches some how :/ as with the inner arch... Well... There isn't much of that left anyway due to scrubbing already! Will get a picture up if the weather is ok today to show how much room I actually have between the arch and tyre on the front. I can't get my little finger or my willy in there.... Safe to say, that's a small gap!! More parts came yesterday Cheers krzys for the edit it's annoying trying to Upload pics now :/1 point

Ok, I've checked the rules and it doesn't say anything against this, so I am entering Hubert's other car the MB6 monster. Thread: http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7866-procharged-mb6-the-build-story/1 point
